Q: What do I need to do if my stylus arrived with no brush tip, just the base?

I thought the same thing but my daughter opened the middle part and the brush was inside. If you can’t get it open then I would return the stylus because my daughter loves the brush part for her drawing.

yes it is made of actual brush bristle. you can call it a brush tip.

Q: This product is not connected to my ipad. it's not caught by bluetooth and can't use it. what happened?

Our product does not need a Bluetooth connection. First, touch the screen of your gadget with your finger. If it’s working then Butouch will definitely work. If it doesn’t work with your finger then it won’t also work with Butouch. We recommend that you set your gadget’s touch input. OR You can refer to the following steps. ["setting" - "apple pencil" - disable "only draw with apple pencil"]

Q: Is this different than a traditional paint brush? If yes, how so?

These are not for normal painting this is a capacitive brush in other words for tablets or phones.
