Bought this Ramona series For granddaughter in fourth grade struggling with enjoying reading, having read this to my own children, I know she will love it, Especially Given her younger siblings who annoy her no end. I know she will enjoy it, and it will stimulate her loss of reading

These books are a nice throwback to my childhood, younger generations will love the series, they are timeless.

This is a great set of books. I bought it for too young of a child though- so I won't be reading them probably in full for a few more years.

I read Ramona the Pest when i was around 9 years old and it's one of the books that has really stayed with me. Reading it as an adult to my 5 year old is thoroughly enjoyable. SO funny and well observed,it's a pleasure to read.when i saw this boxed set it was a must-buy. I personally preferred the original illustrations, but that is a minor point. All the books are wonderful. Maybe of more appeal to girls around 8 plus for in dependant reading though my 10 year old son enjoyed.I do recommend reading these aloud to your child though - otherwise you 'll be missing a treat!
