Q: I have an engraved/etched lighter I got as a gift. Can I use this stuff to coat the engravings/etchings so they don't feel like sandpaper?

Not sure that is a good idea. You may get burn marks.

Q: My studio is indoors. Do I have to use this outside and wear a respirator for the fumes?

I use it indoors all the time in fairly large pours and have never had any problems. I don't wear a respirator since it has almost no smell or fumes. Great product too!

Q: Can you use this on stainless steel tumblers

I would fine sand the tumblers so it will stick

Q: Can i use this for rod building thread finish?

I would not recommend it. I didn't see anywhere in the description where it said it was flexible. Ive been building rods for almost 20 years now and the epoxies for rod building are specifically designed to flex (to a certain degree) with out destroying the integrity of the bond. That being said, even if this is "flexible" its uncertain how long it would last before it starts to crack. I'm not saying this isn't a good product. I just wouldn't recommend it. Stick to epoxies specific to rod building. Amazon sells Flexcoat
