It might work, but I can't find decent instructions on how to use it
Before I get into the actual review, I wanted to give my skin profile first. I am a very fair skinned Caucasian in my late-twenties, and have pretty great skin outside of occasional hormonal zits along my jaw line. My primary skin care concerns are perpetually rosy cheeks (not rosacea, but Scottish/Irish heritage; I always look like I am wearing blush), small blackheads on my nose, very slightly uneven skin tone, and anti-aging. Despite being fair skinned, I have extremely tough skin that can stand up to a lot of abuse. Almost nothing irritates it other. I am a bit of a skin care junkie and I used to work in an upscale department store’s skin care department selling brands such as Bliss, Caudalie, Kneipp, and Kiehls. I am fairly well informed about skin care and cosmetics, and I love trying new products.So, full disclosure, I totally bought this to spring on my husband to make him laugh if he had a bad day. I’ve heard of facial toning exercises and even done a few, these have earned me some extra special glances from curious fellow motorists while I have been sitting at traffic lights, but I honestly thought that this little device would only be good for a laugh.So how does it work? Well, I’m not sure. (I know, I am dreadfully helpful aren’t I?) I have been playing with it and I am not even sure of the how it should be used. Should it go between the lips and the teeth, or should it go behind the teeth? The model in the picture seems to have the product placed behind her teeth, but when I used the tool like that it didn’t do anything to my facial muscles at all. It made my two-year-old giggle laugh maniacally, but that is about it. However, when I put it on between my teeth and my lips and did the exercises there was definitely more resistance and my face actually felt like it had a workout after I completed three minutes. I looked even more ridiculous using the product this way, but I told myself it was for science!The instructions provided on the product description page are essentially useless and I can’t find any Youtube tutorials to tell me the proper way to go about using this little device. Given how I feel after using it between my teeth and lips I would say that it definitely could be an effective tool if one keeps at it and doesn’t mind looking very strange. I will keep using this for a month, three minutes isn’t a big sacrifice, and update this review if I have any results or if I figure out the proper way to use it.Also, give the tool a very good wash before you use it. Just to be extra safe I popped mine into rapidly boiling water for about 30 seconds. It smells, and even faintly tastes, of rose water. Well, I've had it for about a week and whenever I'm in my bathroom I spend a good three minutes sometimes twice a day. When I insert this piece into my mouth I can only keep it in when my teeth are showing when I look in the mirror so that's the way I've been doing it .I don't see any teeth showing in any of the pictures. What I'm writing sounds so funny but, I do give honest reviews. I do the A E I O U vowel sounds but I also try other movements I have seen that I can feel my jaw tightening. If it works it will take time but I want to give it a good try. I did get a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review in exchange for a discount on this item.
