Buffalo has quickly become my favourite game. It's amazing
Buffalo has quickly become my favourite game. It's amazing. I have played with my extended family (ages ranging from 12 to 80) as well as with a raucous group of friends recently at a party, and it's a hit every time. The clean aesthetic of this game makes it easy to read and understand, which in turn lets the game remain quick-paced and exciting (if that's your speed...certainly there were times where we slowed down for my little cousin, who often took that opportunity and extra time to come up with the most ingenious answers). The rules are clear and simple, and as someone who often gets confused when trying to learn new games this was a relief to me. I cannot recommend this game enough!

More fun than I thought
A friend introduced me to this game and it is more fun than I expected! Definitely great for those who know a lot of pop culture/famous people or characters. Every group I’ve played with has had fun with it, including 20 something friends and my grandma.

We had a blast!!
We test-played it with a few adults and a few middle schoolers. Everyone was laughing and having an absolute blast. We relaxed the rules so that you didn't need to know the name of the person but as long as everyone knew who you were talking about that was ok.We will be using it at our organization for DEI training. It should spark some good conversations about who we know and our body of knowledge. For instance, we had the card Scandinavian down for a long time because none of us knew anyone from there. Also, when the scientist card was down, did we think of only male scientists or females scientists too. I'm ordering two more!

The game looked fun, but it exceeded my expectations
I purchased this game for the classroom after reading an article on how it helped people overcome stereotypes (like all scientists are white and male). The game looked fun, but it exceeded my expectations. I played it with three different groups of high school students. In all three cases, my quiet and withdrawn physics students were laughing, yelling and arguing subtleties of definitions. I have a class set of Apples to Apples, but sometimes the game can be difficult to get started and keep students engaged. This was liked by all.I showed the game to some colleagues, and we stayed after school playing it on Friday instead of heading home. I'm looking forward to playing this game with friends and family soon. This is a great game for a wide variety of players.
