Helped to stabilize out TV.
These worked well to stabilize a mid-size TV. It was in jeopardy of falling when our year old cats got active and playful.Easy installation. We attached it to the TV stand itself.

Nice straps, maybe a little pricey.
This set of "TV & Furniture Straps" is pretty basic, but it gets the job done! The only reason I can't give this set 5 stars is the price. In my opinion, the current price of $17 is too much for what you get. $12 - $15 is more what I'd think to be fair. However, some (my wife included) would call me frugal, and if the price doesn't bother you, they will get the job done!The concept is simple:1 - Mount the adjustable end to the TV or furniture you want to hold in place.2 - Mount the buckle end to the most solid thing in range of where you want to keep it.3 - Thread the strap through the buckle and tighten until it is sufficiently secured.This does only secure in one direction however. Straps will not stop something from being pushed, only pulled, so just be mindful of that when setting up.The parts are substantial in strength for their intended purpose, and the selection of screws is sufficient to do most jobs.I write reviews to help others make informed decisions when buying. A very good idea to make it simple to add additional safety for TVs
This set of straps is a good idea in order to further stabilize today's large TVs to lessen the possibility of an accident, potentially causing harm to children (and adults). The installation is easy with just some screws (a variety of screws are provided in order to find some that fit your particular TV). I was able to find some that fit my LG TV fine. There was some chemical smell upon opening, which I believe comes from the paint used, so I aerated it prior to install. I think this is a good idea if you don't want to work from scratch and buy some metallic wires from a DIY store and do it yourself.A sample was provided for review.
