So happy with my purchase!
With a lot of time on my hands I decided to take on adult coloring as a new hobby. To get started I went to my local craft store and purchased a coloring book and a 12pk of Crayola colored pencils. When i got home I immediately started to color and it was great at first but I wasn't satisfied with the results. I realized I needed pencils that were rich in color and vibrant.So I decided to do my research and look for affordable pencils that were great quality. However, I didn't want to buy professional colored pencils because of the price. I ran across CrownArt- 24 Pack of Colored Pencils and decided to try these out.I would like to say they are nothing short of amazing. The color payoff is awesome, very pigmented, it's like they glide on the paper and best of all, It includes a wide range of colors. I would recommend this to anyone, whether you're an artist or just a regular person looking to color to relieve stress; this is the product for you!

Color Well but Break Easy
The coloring quality of these is good. I like how much color they put down but the cores break very easily after the first time you sharpen them. I'm already halfway through some colors and I've hardly used them. Also, there are four shades of pink which seems unnecessary.

Nice set
The CrownArt 24-colored pencil set turned out to be a great set for both myself and my daughter to use both because of the coloration offered and because of the relative softness (not to be confused with a lack of sturdiness) of the pencil lead. This especially helped my daughter, who is really young and just starting to learn to color, while working alongside me as I shaded because she could depress the pencil somewhat and get results, unlike with much harder types. I was surprised to find that they were softer, too, because this was comparable with more expensive (non-blended) sets we had picked up.The colors represented here are great as well, because they allow everything along the spectrum from light to dark. While I am not apt at color names nor am I listing every shade (you can look at this more closely on the product picture), the set includes white, yellow, orange, peach, pinks up to red, blues, greens, a gray, browns, and blacks. This is nice for both of us as well, because it gives a variety of choices and the differences in shading allow the budding artist to learn different shades of the same color.Note that these were supplied for sampling purposes for a reduced or no cost, so I did not include the pricing in the overall consideration.

Fun for artists of all levels.
The set includes 24 pencils with the full color spectrum and shades. The "lead" tips are soft but sturdy and do not break by simple pressure on paper. They are easy to sharpen and their hexagonal shape make them ergonomic.The pigment are steadfast, waterproof and light resistant - as tested after coloring a full page and misting it with water; the colors did NOT run. Another colored page was left in bright sunlight for a week; there was no fading of color.I particularly like the ability to blend and shade with these pencils; from very light to much darker, with little effort. A moist paper towel, gently rubbing against the colors, transforms the piece to a water color painting.I update and revise reviews if I discover defects or problems after using the product for a while.I purchased this item with a discount coupon. Perfect gift for yourself or for a friend
I was only planning on purchasing a pack for the artsy packaging to give as a gift for one of my friends who is an artist but then I remember about the coloring book I bought months ago thats just been sitting on my desk so I figured I might as well purchase two for such cheap price. Got it in two days with Amazon Prime. Let me start by saying how creative the packaging is and how excited I am to gift this! It is very different from others and it looks more fancy as if I spent so much money on it. Second, I have not stopped coloring because of how great these pencils are. I get that they are only pencils but let me tell you that it is very pigmented and easy to fill in and shade. Actually feeling my inner artist self using these. Totally recommending on purchasing this whether for yourself or as a gift.
