Japan WaZaki Hybrid Iron Set USGA R A Rules Golf Club

Ordered online and received within 4 days. Bought these to trial using a full set of hybrid irons. Well packaged and look as I had expected. Played my first game with them today and was impressed! It will take awhile to get used to the higher irons! Look and feel solid overall.. good value for money! Will still use my own traditional sand wedge.. took a bit of getting used to using and trusting the higher irons with loft. They are bulky in the bag, so I would imagine I will take a few out but that’s not a product fault.. Overall, very happy!

A very good set of hybrid irons at an unbeatable price. The guarantee is for 5 years and the return options excellent if you're not completely happy. I was considering buying a set of Cobra hybrid irons but at £700+ this set made far more sense and I was not disappointed. I have used them about ten times so far, they hit the ball straight and longer than normal irons so I would tend to say that so far I am using one club less. I have always struggled hitting longer irons but not with these and I am now hitting the green from 150 to 160 yards out. The PW & SW are difficult getting out of bunkers and chipping onto the greens or getting out of longer grass so I would suggest keeping a standard SW & PW in the bag (these two clubs however do hit very easily off the fairway). For information I have a 19 handicap on the WHS and I am 73 years old and did not take up golf until I retired ten years ago.To summarise then I would recommend these clubs for anyone who struggles hitting accurate shots with longer irons and is a higher handicap player.

I ordered these clubs via Amazon on a Sunday and they were delivered to Ireland on the following Tuesday. Very good service!I have just completed my first golf round with them and I have no complaints. They are hybrid clubs and are very forgiving and easy to hit.I’m in my late seventies and can’t hit the golf ball like I used to, however I feel that these clubs have given me a new lease of golf life. No regrets

14 handicapper.Personally I found irons a bit of a struggle to hit for a few years now , especially the lower irons which are more & more been replaced with hybrids ,which are imo far easier to hit from most lies rough , fairway or tee box . I have only had a couple of rounds with these & have been very impressed with both strike & ball flight , gained few yards with them too from my old set..forgiving & much more reliable in terms of a pure strikeGreat! clubs especially if you struggle to hit irons.?It's important if buying to chose correct shaft with regards weight.Overall a game changer for people who much prefer the hybrid,s the fundamentals of golf being more consistency & confidence so can enjoy your golf all year round.Tip ..buy 1 club see how you hit it ?,then if you like it treat yourself to the full set. 👍John

Bought these with some trepidation, took the reviews with a pinch of salt. They arrived on the Tuesday, took them out on the course Thursday. I am not going to go over the top because it’s early days but after one round any doubts I had have completely evaporated.They look and feel good, however I would probably prefer them in black than garish blue but I will get used to that. Instantly I felt comfortable , the strike of the ball felt superb and every shot was made with a good clean contact, no duffing, no clumps of turf before the ball. I would recon that I am adding 20-30yards per club in distance and my accuracy has greatly improved. Now having said all this I am only one round out with these clubs and they are coming to Turkey with me next week for a golf trip so in 10 days time I may have a completely different opinion but I hope not. And if I do the company claim to have a 45 day no quibble returns policy ( I wonder how true that is ) .My only complaint about these clubs are the head covers, horrible plastic junk. Too bulky and look cheap and nasty.Overall I am very happy and surprised at this stage but further rounds needed before I am sure they are for me.

The clubs are so easy to hit straight.Distances will take a while to get used to as I hit them further than my irons. They look like they will scratch up easily unfortunately, but overall quality is very good. Full marks for value for money.

Haven't used the clubs yet. As I unpackaged these clubs it was obvious that the SW had already been used due to small marks on the clubface. All the other clubs were brand new except for the sand wedge. It's a shame as delivery was quick and all other clubs looked brand new. It isn't worth the hassle to return 1 club so it looks like I'm stuck with a second hand clubAfter using these for several weeks they have definitely improved my game and got rid of the dreaded shanks which has allowed me to enjoy golf again. Several of the club head covers have broken zips on the and the clubs themselves haven't held up too well. But if you're struggling with your game I'd recommend them to a beginner or high handicapper. I doubt it will take much longer for the better club manufacturers to start making similar full hybrid sets.... or at least I hope so!UPDATE: after owning these clubs for almost a year I can verify that they are a good purchase. I have bought a better set of hybrid irons since (cobra t-rail) as my first choice set if clubs. But, every now and again when my confidence is knocked my dreaded shank shot creeps back into my swing... That is when I swap out my newer irons for the wazaki set and a bit of practice later I'm back to hitting the ball well and switch my clubs again. So in hindsight these clubs are a brilliant option to have on hand whenever my game is struggling. Would recommend to a high handicap or any golfer who gets the shanks now and then. The clubs have shown much wear and tear such as scratched faces and lots of sky marks and missing paint. Plus the head covers just went into the bin as they broke very quickly and were easily lost. But the clubs still function as required.
