I ordered these to use on a fly fishing trip in which I would be camping over a three night stay. After fly fishing the first day, my friend and I returned to our secluded campsite with thoughts of a hot meal and good nights sleep. Once the sun went down, I turned on these lights and was instantly pleased. They are bright but not obnoxiously bright. They don’t hurt your old, tired eyes after being in the bright sun all day staring at moving trout waters. They emitted a pleasant enough light that you actually enjoyed having them around you. I primarily used them in and around my tent. One stayed inside the tent and was used to aid in the usual tent activities as well as providing illumination for reading before I called it a night. The other served a more important function. It hung on the very front of the tent and provided a source of light for when nature called in the cold, early morning hours. That little light lit up a nice, wide area in front of the tent that allowed me to take care of some early morning business. Over three nights, as I stumbled half-asleep out of the Coleman tent to take a piss, I confidently tapped the button on the light and relished in my decision to buy these cheap little lights. They performed flawlessly over a three night period with temps plunging down to 40 degrees. I never once charged any of the three lights I took. Not even the one inside the tent. I plan on ordering more of these for future fishing trips..reassured that they are a worthy purchase after having provided me with great service and peace of mind in the middle of the dark, cold woods. UPDATE: These little lights continue to impress after much use in various situations, including power outages. I have noticed no reduction in light output or any failures to work after fairly regular use. Would definitely buy without reservation!

Great light for the size, diffused not glaring. I used twistie-tie to keep cord attached and have hanging in a good spot for emergency power outages. Light weight recommend for children over four. Would be great in a glove box! Worth the purchase.

Love the LED lamp, I have it clipped to my tent and pretty much lives there full time now, charge last a good while, super bright

Bought this for a few camping trips last year. Overall I can’t complain, but wish I had spent a few extra dollars on one that was more dimmable/adjustable. This light is great in certain situations, but far too bright for me even on its lowest setting for use inside a tent at night or even at a picnic table at night. Another thing to note: this light in addition to being very bright, is bright white, not a warm amber white. If you’re looking to set the mood for your lady friend, she will be blinded. So look elsewhere. It’s a good quality light though, and I appreciate its recharging, carabiner and dimmer settings, although limited.

This lamp lasted my whole weekend trip and the clip, charging port, and dimming were super convenient. Its lightweight and compact which makes it easy to pack and it withheld being in the same bag as my cot and tent with any scratches or cracks! I haven’t gotten to test the magnet yet but this was worth the purchase regardless

This light is great in a tent. Provides more than enough light.
