I’m Thrilled!!!
My new recliner came quickly and assembly was as EASY as the video showed!! I was so impressed!!! Day 3 and I just love it!! The price was fantastic too!! I practically lived in my past recliners, but my last one only lasted three years and was considerably more expensive. I’ve been without one for the last 9 months, having only a plushy, upright chair that just started falling apart. I’m just so pleased with my new recliner!! I bought the extended warranty. I’m hoping this chair lasts. Like the other reviews, one does need to apply some oomph to close the footrest. The mechanism that pops the footrest out is new to me as I’m used to the wooden handle/lever. The material is soft and I like that the arm rests are low so that there’s more room. I don’t like feeling boxed in by higher arm rests. I am very pleased with my new recliner!!

The good and the bad
I do like the chair but I have some problems with it.To start off, I am not sure if it’s worth 465 with shipping. Secondly, it isn’t the most sturdy but it isn’t flimsy either. I am 5 feet 11 and 235 lbs. the chair holds me fine but I do feel like it is too small for me to really feel comfortable. My head almost hangs off the back and my ankles are hanging off the leg rest when I recline it. So if you are taller than I am, forget it. It is also a bit difficult to lock back into the seated position. The material is comfortable.Lastly, I do wish the hand rests were a bit taller. When you are seated, it feels like it needs to be higher for me to feel relaxed.

Didn’t even last a year
Originally ordered November 2021, now a year later and this chair is hanging on by a thread. It is a very nice looking chair & easy to put together. But it does not last. I knew the price was too good to be true. The springs are coming lose, almost all (and I mean all) of the stuffing has come out of the chair. The recline won’t stay in and the arms are falling apart. Such a disappointment for being so pretty.

It is not the color shown, it is more a light tan.
Not a sink-in comfortable chair, I hope with time it will soften up. Foot rest could be a little longer.Very easy to put the back on the chair. I am a 83 year old female and was able to get it out of the box and put the back on by myself.

Good Value
For the price, this is a good value recliner. It has almost all of the key features that I wanted, including the ability to use the footrest, without going back into the reclining position. This was very important to me, as I like to meditate sitting fully up in the recliner, with my feet extended. I can actually even sleep this way, because my head and neck stay relatively stationary. The other thing that I really like, is the the foot rest is comfortable without hot spots, and extends fully out, without gaps. Cushion (seating) comfort, is satisfactory, although it is perhaps not as soft as I would prefer. Still, it's not that bad. The hand rests are very large, which I like, and also very comfortable. I also love the manual handle. I have no need for automated recliners, which are not only heavier and more expensive, but also have more working parts that can break. I can think of only two cons with this recliner. One is minor - pushing the foot rest back in, is a little cumbersome, but not really all that bad. The major con, is that this would not make an ideal recliner sleeper, for those interested in that possibility, unless you are particularly short. The back does not go up high enough for proper head rest. I am around 5 feet 11 inches tall.

Have hip problems, not comfortable
It wasn't as stuffed as said it was. I can feel the wires that holds up the little bit of stuffing that is in it. The bottom leg foot area has none just the material covering it. The back area I feel the wires that goes from side to side are sticking above the stuffing. I have scoliosis in my back from and injury, that has caused twisting and tangling of nerves in my back, hip needed replace so much damage, knee completely damaged can't be operated on crps set up in me. Anyway I feel pain worse than a person with fibromyalgia. And the only good thing I can say bout this chair is that I can set up with leg propped up on a pillow to eat now. But falling asleep in it is a nightmare it doesn't stay reclined, it doesn't lock in place where you want it, it slams back into a sitting position.

Recliner
It is a good chair. I have it for when people come to visit. Sometimes they fall asleep in it. I have been told it is so comfortable.
