Very sharp, great value. I only recently started using ceramic knives and I hope I continue to have success. We are just so frustrated trying to sharpen our steel knives and keep them sharp. I even have a good set of Wusthof knives that I bought years ago and I'm tired of them. I've bought other knives since then and I'm finally ready to try ceramic.

Knifes are really easy to use, long handles give a firm feel. I feel the edge is not as sharp as when first used, but still cut very well. You have to slice with these knifes, and not chop. Using a slicing motion gives me a great product. I love these knifes..

My first thought when I opened the box was that they were cheap whit plastic but that is a trick, once I touched them I realized they really are ceramic! I still had reservations until we actually use them. They are super sharp and smooth, they cut through everything we used it on from cheese to tomatoes to even meat. We did have a hard time with the peeler but that may be because it's a different type than we normally use.

The media could not be loaded.  When I first heard about ceramic knives, I pictured something fragile. Then I saw them in action. I have wanted to try ceramic knives since I first encountered them on a cooking show on Food Network. I did a little research and found out that the hardness of the steel blade I've used forever is a 6.5. The hardness of a diamond is 10. The hardness of a ceramic blade is 9.5. That little fact really peaked my interest.Before I get into my review, I need to give full disclosure that I received this  Ceramic Knife Box Set With 3 Knives  at no charge to review. Let me further add, I only post reviews for products I use and feel confident recommending to others.I got diagnosed with high blood pressure a couple of years ago, so I started making all my meals at home and it involves a lot of prep work for chopping fruits and veggies. I don't mind because good health is worth it and I have a good set of steel knives, but they are heavy and my hand gets tired about that 3rd onion I'm chopping for DASH Diet French Onion Soup. My current set of knives cut nice, and I do keep them sharp (they need sharpening frequently from use) but they are heavy and hand fatigue is definitely an issue.Pros- the ceramic knives are very lightweight. I chopped 4 potatoes and 1 onion as a test (hashbrowns!) and had zero hand fatigue.- the blades are super sharp and even cut a very ripe tomato with almost no juice lost. (see video).- they do not stain and are easy to clean.- the peeler made very short work of peeling potatoes again with no hand fatigue.- they have silicone sheaths to protect the blades when not in useConsThe only con I could come up with is how would I sharpen them? I found through a little fast research since the only thing harder than these blades is a diamond, you need a diamond sharpener to use by hand. A quick look on Amazon showed me they are not expensive and easy to find.I have been using these knives for nearly a week a minimum of three times a day for all meal prep for myself and the fam and they are still as sharp as first use. I would estimate ceramic knives don't nearly need as much sharpening as their steel counterparts.These knives would make a great gift for someone that loves to cook. They come in a nice box -so keep that in mind when you can't think of anything when the holiday season rolls around. If you enjoy cooking, definitely try these knives out, it will make a difference in your prep.

This ceramic knife set is exactly what I always wanted for my cooking needs. I had many knife block sets in the past and half of the knives I never used. I also have a very small kitchen and counter space so I was never happy with any of my knife block sets but I also didn't have enough drawer space to keep my knives in so a block was my only option.I was thinking of buying a magnetic strip to hang the knives on instead but with three young children in the house it looked unsafe. This Mama's Kitchenware ceramic knife set is exactly what I always wanted but could never find. It's very sleek, half the size of my knife block set, holds all the size knives I normally use or will ever use, plus it has a holder for the peeler and kitchen scissors! I was absolutely thrilled with the design. Now it was time to test these knives out. My husband chops faster than me so I let him chop up some veggies and chicken for a stir fry we were having for dinner---he loved them. These knives blew us away! The handle provides a nice grip, it has a nice smooth rubber feel, it's not soft or too hard, I really like the light curves on each handle which provides a more comfortable grip when using. The knives are extremely light weight and very, very sharp. I was fortune to be able to receive my set for free to test and offer my personal opinion/review. I honestly feel that the design of this set was very well thought out and was made for the typical household who needs a good quality knife set for basic daily cooking, plus it's a space saver! I love it and highly recommend it.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.- I've never used a ceramic knife before and I was pleasantly surprised that they could cut so well and not be the traditional knife. The handle on each knife and peeler has an easy grip, which was helpful when cutting tougher foods and the handle doesn't slip out of your hands if your hands are wet or greasy, I love that! This knife set was the smoothest cutting set of knives I've used in a long while. They cut veggies and even crusty French bread with ease and clean (Without crumbs everywhere). I love that they are sharp but not intimidating or scary to use. And these knives are so easy to clean. Love them!!

I had the pleasure to review the Ceramic Knife Box Set with 3 knives/sheaths & a potato peeler for free in exchange for a fair honest review. First things first, I have never heard of ceramic knives. I didn’t realize they exited. My first thoughts were, “no way will they work.” I was wrong! These knives are extremely sharp!! I have bought other knives in the past and though they appear to be sharp they can’t through anything. These knives are sharp! So sharp this is the first set of knives, I am actually hiding from the kids. They are beautifully made and very lightweight. I expected them to be heavier; which is a nice surprise. Great set of knives. I will buy more soon!
