Simple, Nutritious Meal Ideas for a Healthy Life
I have Ella's original cookbook Deliciously Ella so I wanted to try this one for even more delicious recipes that are healthy and nourishing. The first recipe that I tried was the zucchini and carrot salad. It was so incredibly easy and the dressing was simple and delicious. Even my husband liked it! What I find the most significant about Ella's recipes and food philosophy is that it really does matter what we put into our bodies. And it can change the way we feel, the way we look and our overall health. On a personal note, over the Summer, I had gotten away from healthy eating because of lack of convenience (one of the reasons I purchased this book). As a result, I had been feeling incredibly sluggish, total lack of energy, my skin and hair had started to look dull and lifeless and I just didn't have a glow at all. In short, I wasn't giving my body what it needed and boy did it show! I felt pretty awful: aches and pains and soreness where I would have to take aspirin or ibuprofen to get rid of it. I felt just all around lousy. This was my body giving me signals to get straight: seriously. As soon as I started eating healthy again, I started to feel amazing. My energy levels started to improve, I slept better, and my skin started to glow with less wrinkles and my skin is much more hydrated. That haggard, tired look started to fade and I felt soooo much better. I started drinking a lot more water and herbal teas adding baobab powder, maca powder etc. when possible...After I had a cup of Rooibos tea, I literally looked better 15 minutes in. Amazing. So, I have incorporated these recipes into my rotations and I'm thrilled with them. I can't begin to say enough how important it really is to take care of and nourish your body with healthy foods and to just let the junk and processed foods go once and for all. I know that I won't ever be going back to eating or drinking junk again. Thanks to Ella for the lovely cookbook and yummy healthy combinations!!

Can't praise it enough.
My go-to recipe book. LOVE it. I've made so many recipes. They are all super easy and taste amazing.I've been reducing my consumption of animal proteins so I needed recipes to help me with that transition. The pictures are very tasty looking and so super motivational which I SO appreciate. Can't say enough to good things about it. She's got a great app too!

MUST HAVE :)
I am new to gluten free & dairy free & all other cookbooks/recipes I find are so complicated. This cookbook is life changing because it's easy & the recipes are delicious and satisfying! I also never write reviews, but I had to for this because I am so obsessed! I will be buying her other cookbooks.Also, having a high powered blender is a huge help!

Love it!
Great book, very useful for vegetarians or for carnivores wanting to add more veggie/grain dishes. I really like that the book avoids trying to mimic dairy and meat with soy products. I personally don't care for soy, plus it's hardly ever organic. And given all the issues with GMO and pesticides laden soy beans, I would much rather avoid it. These recipes simply use alternative ingredients (beans, hummus, nut butters, etc) to make the meals feel filling without using fake meat and dairy substitutes. Great book!

Happy with Purchase
I started with The Best Sweet Potato on page 145. Delicious. I like simple recipes. I don't have much patience for cooking these days. As the title suggest the recipes are quick and easy! This is an author of the Facebook generation with the book as this book is full of pictures of the author. I find it annoying, although she does seem to be a very happy person!

This book is so inventive. Trying some recipes...her sweet potato coconut soup and chia pots were delicious. Argula sweet potato salad was great as well. She used simple ingredients that ho in s lot of her recipes. Can't wait to make more recipes.

Gluten free organic and vegan cooking at it's best.
Delicious and healthy. Good food is expensive and she uses plenty of it. Not for low budgets, but many good comforting meals. i make one of her dishes at least once a day. Great book for people with food allergies.

Great receipes, pretty standard ingedients, easy to follow, delicious and nutrious. Highly reccomend

Simple and Down to Earth
I bought this before owning her other cookbook. This is a book filled with easy every day recipes. She uses a lot of the same ingrediants for dressings or to add flavour but the unique mixes always bring something different to the meal. It doesn't include any specialty or crazy hard to find ingrediants and I find her writing approachable and friendly. Amongst my many cookbooks Ive used her often since Ive purchased it. I think you will find value in this as well.

Formidable, simple, rapide d'exécution et délicieux en plus !Une cuisine saine et si bien présentée ...un très joli livre que je je recommande à tous les amateurs qui veulent changer leur façon de s'alimenter et donner la priorité à leur santé !Je suis ce type de cuisine depuis de nombreuses années déjà et Ella a rempli toutes mes attentes !Merci Ella !
