In combination with trigger point therapy and active isolated stretching, I have reduced HT & /trpt 100%. This product is a great tool to add to my body work tool chest.Ice cup massages are great on small areas, but this is great for larger areas like the whole side of a calf. It last about 20 minutes, thus I can do several 5-8 minute ice massages for different areas.Safety tip: keep the ice moving in circular motion as well as moving forward and backward for 5-8 minutes.It's on my wish list to buy more. It requires about 6 hours to freeze solid.Update 8/28/13:I'd like to see a lighter version of this. The weight is not necessary for affective Cryotherapy, and it makes it harder on therapists' wrist, as it requires more force when switching directions than it does on lighter options. I'd prefer a similar device made of plastic. The shape is comfortable, but the weight is not. It also makes it heavy for carrying it to off site locations when combined with the weight of other equipment.I tend to use this as a teaching / motivational tool to allow clients to experience the power of ice massage and get them to do it has homework. Thus, the weight is not as much of a problem as it would be if I were using it with every massage. Ice massage is an easy self-care option with powerful results.

It's good! No difference from the traction I have had at the hospital and no trips there with expensive parking.
