CIPA01609 Black Vision 180 Degree Marine Mirror with Deluxe Cast Aluminum Cup Mounting Bracket

I love the mirror. It looks great on my boat and provides a great view of everything behind and around us. I do have one issue though. I guess the mirror got a little to hot because the mirror part fell off. I guess I expected an almost $200 mirror to be attached to the base with something other than double sided tape. I've got it back together but will probably need to come up with a better way to attached the back of the mirror to the base.

Why miss half of the entertaining wipeouts behind your boat? With this mirror you see them all. The clamp system is solid and the latch to raise and lower works well. The center pillar is tall enough to keep the mirror out of my direct forward vision. The only down side is the image is minified .

This mirror is outstanding but the mount is not a good fit on my 2017 Chaparral 21 H2O Sport's windshield. There is an extra rubber insert but I still cannot get the mirror clamp to secure tight enough that the mount and mirror won't bounce around under way. Whole set up is heavy and flexes the window trim on the boat. Returning and looking for another mirror. Disappointed because the mirror itself is great.

Love the mirror. Great size, excellent field of view, we'll built. The mounting hardware didn't fit my windshield trim very well, the profile of the rubber pieces were loose. (97 Reinell) I cut a few pieces of rubber fuel line hose and slipped them in the areas where it was loose. After that it was solid and doesn't vibrate while driving. I did call CIPA about the loose mounting hardware and they sent me some pieces of dense neoprene to replace the fuel line hose. I would buy it again.
