Old-Fashioned Cotton Flour Sack Towels 30 Inch x 30 Inch Set of 3

Really like the towels. Needed to be washed a few times though to soften a bit.

bought these so I could try my embroidery machine on them and mostly to dry dishes. I hate the kitchen towels they sell in the local stores. The ones I have purchased in the past from the local stores are not absorbent, leave lint, etc. These feel like they will do a better job. I will let you know.Thank you for your fast survice

I like the fact that they are pure white. They are too large for me and they also don't dry things completely. They wash and dry quite nicely. Just not for me.

"Ages" ago I had heard about flour sack dish towels but did not decide to try them until now. The first time I used one was to dry my eight quart stock pot. It dried this very large pot so quickly that I was absolutely amazed! Each time that I use these towels they dry everything as "quick as a wink"!!I am sure that they would do as beautifully with any other task around the home. However, I will continue to use these 30"x30" flour sack dish towels for their original purpose. These dish towels are really great, and I highly recommend them. Not what I expected. The material is rather thin for use as a dishtowel, but the quality seems to be good.

I'm coming in to Amazon to order another dozen of these towels; my third order so far. Six months ago I sought to find a solid, crisp flour sack towel like I remember using to dry dishes after supper when I was a child. To that end, I ordered four different versions from Amazon to sample. None of the others held a candle to these. They're exactly what I was looking for. These towels excel for drying dishes; for draping over the shoulder when playing chef in the kitchen; they're elegant and attention getting as place setting napkins (they cover the entire lap); and I've never had more streak free windows if I use one for cleaning spray application and another for drying/polishing.

These Flour Sack Towels are of poor quality. I have used these type of towels, as Jumbo Jenney's for a long time...They are hard to find, and yet, these towels are much to be desired...Shrink incredibly so.Keep looking before you pay $20.00 here

It's a dishcloth! It's a burp rag! It's absorbent and big! We really like these. They get quite a workout at our house. See, we have some dishes (including cast iron) that we wash then immediately dry, and we also have an 8 month old grand baby living here, so these are essentially getting punished and are holding up. Some we bought last year are already "garage" or "cleaning" towels now. That's the "pasture" our old, fraying towels are "put to". After about a year, we have to order more. Decent price, if you can get past the fact that all of these are overpriced IMHO, but they work and last a while.
