usep Jolly Roger Calico Jack Rackham Pirate 12x18 Boat Flag Indoor/Outdoor

I bought this flag for use with the ship structure I had built for my grandson. I have been using this product for more than two weeks now. In that time, I've had an opportunity to evaluate both the quality of the product and the overall usability. In creating this review I've considered both the type of material used in making the product as well as the overall fit and finish. I've also considered how well the product meets my needs and whether there are any shortcomings or particular advantages in using this product.The flag is secured to a single post that stands in the middle of the quarter-deck. I built the front bow with two decks and a bowsprit. There is a short mast, which has climbing ropes down to the ground and is the perfect place to fly his new Jolly Roger. The total height is 7.5 feet with the main deck at 3.5 feet (it is a child's structure, after all).The flag arrived on time and was packaged in a traditional large envelope. There was no damage to the package and the flag inside was in pristine shape. The overall quality of the flag is "outstanding," It is a light-weight nylon main field (in black) with the Jolly Roger printed on the flag. I would say this flag is great for good weather, but I won't leave it out in really foul weather. The reason is that the nylon material, as one might expect at this price level, is simply not heavy enough to withstand sustained 10 to 20 mph winds for more than a week or two. I've used flags that were made of this weight material and they look great but are a bit dainty.None of the weather concerns me since I did not buy the flag to leave outside. It is for when my grandson visits. He's here twice a week and we have a flag raising and lowering ceremony right now. That helps him remember to put it up and take it down whenever he wants to play pirate ship. I have two other flags, made of similar material, which give him options for his games. So far, though, the Jolly Roger is his favorite.For this particular product, the type of material used in the manufacture and creation of the product seems to be of very good quality. One must consider that for any product of this type there is a balance between the type of material used and the cost that is to be passed on to the consumer. I think for this product that balance has been met fairly well and I believe that the product will meet the expectations of most buyers.

This is the third time purchasing this flag. True two sided design, same detail and color intensity on both sides. Other flags I have purchased definitely have a good and bad side.

Well made flag with brass gromets, seams are machine stitched to reduce fraying, the 12 X 18 inch size is great for many uses. The skull and cross bones are printed on each side with bright white nylon fabric paint for a great look. Our 4 year old granddaughter loves it for her Halloween events!

I got this in memory of kind souls, all RAIDERS Fans, who have, unfortunately, passed on. I fly it proudly in their absence.
