Silicone only mits still burn your hand. Fabric mits don't burn but they get dirty and soak through. These combine the benefits of both,eliminating the drawbacks. im very happy with this purchase.

I feel these have my family protected when using as needed. Always used the cloth ones and felt heat or would get dirty often.

Product as stated! Fits perfectly. The inside of the glove is lined with a "slick" material so it goes on easily. Excellent quality and function.

My old cloth oven mitts have seen better days and I was tired of them scorching and staining. I'd wash them and they'd clump up. These awesome mitts are the solution. They are really unexpectedly comfortable to wear! I have very long fingers and often find that most one-sized gloves and things are too small for my hand. These will fit any hand. They are also nice and long and the soft, stretchy cuff hit me mid-forearm, which is more than sufficient. The lining is soft and quilted. Most importantly, they keep the heat out when pulling hot pans from the oven. I felt a little warmth pulling out a casserole dish at 350 (it protects up to 470), but nothing uncomfortable at all. Offers very thorough protection. I love that these are machine washable and won't have the ugly burn marks and stains my old oven mitts have. I recently was given the opportunity to review these silicone oven mitts and was very intrigued by the design. I baked cookies the day I received them in the mail and tried them out. First, the fit is good but the black part that goes over the forearm is a tiny bit snug. Its not uncomfortable necessarily but I don't have super huge arms and there is no wiggle room at that part of the glove. So anyone with larger forearms would probably not be able to pull these mitts up all the way. Other than that the rest of the oven mitt fit very well with lots of room. I love that there is a quilted lining. I've used other silicone oven mitts that are not lined and in the time it takes me to pull something out of the oven and find a place to put the hot pan I end up getting slightly burned through the mitt. With these I didn't even feel any warmth through the silicone and lining. It was very nice. They bend and move very easily as I bend my hand to pick stuff up out of the oven. I love that this set came with 2 because I often times need 2 full hand mitts and most sets only have one. These silicone over mitts are very nice quality. I love the color. They day these arrived, we put them to work! They arrived in good shape and on time, and they seem to be made very well. There were no split seams or hanging threads, and the silicone is nice and supple. My son in law has taken to hosting cookouts on the weekend, and he uses lots of cast iron pots, grills and griddles. We've used silicone mitts for this purpose before, but these were better by far! I think the lining on the inside, and the long length, is what added to our safety and comfort. I really like that these come in a set of two, because many times we were able to get 2 adults in at the fire and both had protection. Sometimes though, one person really needs to have both hands and arms protected when it comes to cast iron (a full pot of something is pretty heavy in a cast iron pot) My daughter is usually the one that is toasting marshmallows for the kids, and I handed her one of these to use when she was doing that too. She was able to handle the toasting fork without any problems at all. These gloves are made really well, and they would be at home in the kitchen or at the campfire either one! I was able to wash them up with soap and water when I got home, and they really showed very little use (the cuffs have a smoky aroma, but I didn't wash them!) I got these discounted for my review. The quilt knit inside the gloves makes this better than any of those other silicon mitts. They were easy to take on and off and stop heat transfer perfectly. Quality is top notch
