Q: Will this fit a 1989 jeep yj? i have a besttop and seem to have lost the tailgate bar i did have.

Don't know but if it does the product works great comes as described those clips are universal and fit right to the bar so prob will fit any size jeep

So there isn't a gap between the bottom of the rear window and tailgate. To keep the weather out, especially the rain.
