Samsung SEB-1005R Compatible Replacement Camera Kit with Cable

With the assistance of a supplier representative by phone and receipt of the full kit, the new camera was easily added to my existing Samsung system. The kit contained all of the material needed for installation. It is not used as a replacement. I wanted to add one camera to the system. The only difficulty were the usual issues with installing and routing a new cable. The camera is working great.

First of all the camera works great, but there were many issues associated with the order. I have a SEB-1005R camera that was not working and had to order this package because the original camera is discontinued. You can order the original camera, but Amazon wants like $200 for it. I was trying to save money with this order. My issues were as follows: That the package did not come with the 60' cord that it advertised, but this not a huge issue, since I did not need it anyway. The connection cords for the BNC feed came with two (2) female ends and they will not connect without a coupler, which I had to purchase additionally at a local Radio Shack. The picture shows the cords have male ends and the little metal piece is a double female coupler to connect. This was not a difficult fix, just more annoying, since I thought what was described is what I was receiving. This is my first time with a complaint with Amazon, usually what is pictured and described is what arrives with the order. Once I fixed the issues, the camera itself works great, so there is no complaint toward Samsung, just the company selling the package.

Wish I could buy more (not available at the moment). Much clearer (especially IR views) than both types of cameras that shipped with original system. Asked supplier when more available- no response.
