Sonismart - Electric Nail Clipper - Battery Powered Nail Trimmer - Great for Smooth Nails

This is a great tool for someone like me. My nails grow at a rapid rate. Both fingers and toes. I have had women tell me that they hate me because of how beautiful my nails are. But with those long nails comes problems. You have to keep them trimmed or you can't type or wear your shoes. I am not one to go to a nail salon. I like to do things myself. So this is just what I needed. I can keep my nails trimmed down about every 3 days to the place I like them to be. No more constant fighting with regular clippers, then having to use a nail file. This is a super nice gift for any lady. We always appreciate anything that we can use to pamper ourselves. It's small enough to slip in our purse and if we go out in public and get a nail snag we can immediately take care of it. Very durable. I am still using the same batteries. I actually purchased 2. I was going to give 1 to my Mother. My Aunt saw it and I gave it to her. She loves it because she had foot surgery and it's easy for her to do her nails now. My husband takes blood thinners and I have fussed at him about clipping his own nails and I flat refuse. I would feel comfortable using this on his.

This product is no good and anyone who writes a positive review has to have a family member who works for the company. I purchased this because like most parents and do not enjoy trimming my kid's nails. I hoped that this would be an easy alternative just like it shows on the TV ads. It is absolutely not. I tried it on myself first just to try to figure it out and see if it really felt safe for my to try on my kids. It BARELY worked on just one nail before I said forget it on myself, clipping my own the old fashioned way was going to be easier. However, I felt it would be okay to give it a try on the kids just to see if it would work better on them....NOPE!! On the first nail I tried on my son it would not work very well and then it ripped a chunk out of his nail. Luckily it did not rip enough to the point where he was hurt, but that was enough for me. I would absolutely NOT recommend this product for anyone.

Like others with the same rating, very disappointed. It came in a mailing sleeve, unmarked box that was crumpled and the clipper was loose in the mailing sleeve. No directions, not even a logo on the product so you would know it was actually Sonismart. It takes forever to trim your nails and unless your nails are perfectly arced, it won't effectively trim the ends of your nails. Realistically, I think this will perfectly serve for target practice: Can anyone say PULL!!!

I really wanted to like this product. I bought this for my son who has a strong aversion to clippers. This product came with no instructions. I did read online on how to use, tried it on myself and it caught my nails inside and I had to stop it and pull it out. I chalked it up to having too long of nails. Did the same thing to my son. Didn't work at all.Seller was wonderful, however, and accepted return.Would not recommend.

It took me awhile - and several stores - to find a screwdriver small enough to fit in the holes of the battery compartment lid so I could put in the batteries. I'm still trying to learn how to use it. It keeps tearing up my nails. Is it just me? I'm not sure.

never buy this product. It grabbed my nail - hate to think what would have happened if it was used on a child's nail. When I tried it a different way, it chopped at the nail. All the wonderful product reviews - who also stated they had received this product for a lesser amount and were required to review it, seemed to have a different experience. As for me - it was a huge disappointment considering the positive reviews on Amazon

I have used this three times now and it has just not preformed to satisfaction. The first time I over cut my nails; the second required so much file work after that I may as well just used the file. The last time it would hardly cut through my nail...just not worth the time.

I does trim my nails, but it takes several minutes to do just one hand. Regular nail clippers are faster. Still, I may use thisproduct for my feet, since bilateral hip replacements, I can't reach my toes easily, so this product may help me avoid cutting my toes or trimming too closely.
