Great pump and easy to fit and use. Used for molasses to add to horse feed, and even though that’s thick and sticky, it worked all last winter. Refitted to a new bottle today and all good.

I purchased this some time ago it’s a great piece of kit with good quantity delivery. However I found that it would not fit the 5ltr containers I bought it for, today I found the fix for this is very simple you take the lid off your container and put a hole through the very centre of the original lid and then unscrew the pump stem and just replace the cap on the stem I used a step bit to drill out the centre to the same size as the one it came with, works perfectly. You could make this change in less than five minutes. Now works perfectly and will fit more than one size cap for 38mm tops.

This pump works well and should last long enough to dispense a few 5L containers which is OK for 6 quid. It weeps a little around the area where the spout is pushed onto the pump but not enough to cause a drip.

Seems to work fine on medium viscosity liquids. I do not think it would work on very thick gel like products

Pump drips badly after use

I managed to find a couple of sauce pumps for our start-up business and wanted spare pumps just incase. The pumps are the style that have the 1/6 deep gastronome u der a metal lid. These were the same pump pretty much. They also fitted directly on the top of 5ltr plastic jugs so for catering it fits right on top of the tomato sauce. Worked well for me and glad I got them as now have spares in case of customers breaking the original ones

Pump seems well made and sturdy. Larger than pictures show and the tube extends to the bottom of my 5L container. 20mls per pump (I measured to be sure!) DOESN'T FIT ECOVER 5L CONTAINER! I measured my container opening at 38mm but this pump is slightly too small for it, so I had to just tape it on.
