Worth the price I paid but would not reorder.
I bought two of these form the warehouse. They were small enough for my bathroom but very thin, not plush at all. Just good enough to say you have a rug down. I have yet to see how they wash but I don't expect much. The color is a pleasant taupe.

more expensive varieties Grunds Basics offers are better. )
Very thin underfoot. On the plus side, it stuck in place. (Note this is a review of the Riffle bath rug -- perhaps the other, more expensive varieties Grunds Basics offers are better.)

Nothing Like Shown
Returned it; it was nothing as advertised. Complete false advertising of product and color.

You're paying for the modern design...
Okay, so right off the bat I was disappointed with the quality feel of the rug. It is very light weight, thin backing, little backing grip and the material seems like those cheap carpet samples you get free at the back of a carpet specialty store. One thing I will say is the carpet is thicker than most bath mats and does feel wonderful when stepping out of the shower. From the "high-end" marketing by Grund and the price to match, I was expecting something heftier with a more densely woven design. Maybe it is this way because it will be constantly wet and allows for quick drying?I guess you really are just paying for the modern design in this case. Given the quality of the mat, I don't think it should exceed $15. I am skeptical of how it will survive the first wash in the machine...

Bad odor on 1 of 2 "Glory" rugs ordered & The Basics "Riffle" rug smelled like rotten eggs
Review for the Glory Bath Rug: We were looking for a small bath mat with a non-slip latex backing to use in front of the shower. Additionally, we wanted the pile length & material to whisk away water without the pitfalls of cotton (which gets wet & takes hours to dry) or most polys (which can feel "plasticy" & cause the water to bead on top of the pile). After much trial & error, this attractive 17x24 Grund Basics bath mat fits the bill. The pile is synthetic, without feeling plasticy; it absorbs just enough to slightly dry your feet, but does not stay sopping wet for hours. The high-low swirl pattern also seems to help with whisking the water away; your feet get dry, although the mat never seems to get very wet. The non-slip backing keeps the mat firmly in place on the tile floor.Cream is a good description of the milky white color with slight yellow undertones. The mat arrived in a sealed black pack directly from Grund. When opened, the mat smelled ever-so-slightly of bananas (not unpleasant). The mat has been washed & dried once (the banana smell went away & the mat washed beautifully).Review for Basics Riffle Rug: We also tried the Basics "Riffle" rug & returned it because of a terrible smell coming from the rug (especially when wet). It smelled like rotten eggs when I originally washed it in cool water.Update: We ordered a second "Glory" version & the rubber backing had a terrible odor.

Not a bad little rug overall
Not a bad little rug overall, but the non slip backing could be better, it moves around a bit and has to be repositioned constantly.

Love these bath mats
Love these bath mats. They wash beautifully and even though they are a thin weight, they feel good on your feet when you step out of the shower.
