Nubian HeritageLotion Goats Milk and Chai (13oz)

I care about the quality of the ingredients, my wife cares about that and how well it works, and her mom cares about the smell and how it feels. I researched creams and found that this is as nearly a natural product with mostly excellent ingredients and no chemicals as can be found. The cost is less than brands using "clinically tested" or "doctor approved" or some other manipulative marketing nonsense. A lot of the "trusted" name brands have added chemicals and don't use any better ingredients than this cream but charge way too much. This product is an excellent balance of cost, quality, and pleasant appeal. I think the ingredients in the various blends of Nubian lotion are the same--we got the Goats Milk and Chai and all like the smell, but that's going to be personal, isn't it? I can tell you that my wife has a sensitive nose and doesn't like overly sweet, flowery, or strong scents. This has a very mellow but pleasant and natural smell to it. Nice for her to put on her face and for me to kiss. It's a little thick, so a bit goes a long way. I use it on my hands to combat the dry winter air, my wife puts in on her face for the same reason, and her mom--for whom we researched it in the first place--puts it on her 75-year-old face to protect her very thin and fragile skin. Works for all three of us.

I Really like this product a lot! It's a bit expensive for me, so I can't purchase it regularly, but if I could, I would. This product smells lovely, is soothing to dry skin, and moisturizes like crazy! Yep, you have to fight, and come up with some interesting ways to get it all out of the bottle, but to me, its worth it. This lotion is So thick! Not a thin and runny lotion. And its not greasy or sticky. Smh... I didn't get paid for this review, but I should have, lol... This review is awesome! 😁 and truthful. 😑 Again, I REALLY like this product! I hope this review will encourage you to try it too.😉

I understand what some customers comment about the thickness of the lotion, in a negative way. Don't throw any away! I know what they mean, however the 2nd bottle I received was not as difficult as the first. Storing it upside down does help! Also, when it seems like no more will come out no matter how hard you try, I refuse to throw any away because it's so great. What I did was cut the bottle with a pair of scissors, threw the empty top half away, covered with plastic wrap and scrape the lotion out with a finger. My hands are clean so I don't worry about dipping into a clean bottle of clean lotion. As the bottle nears emptiness, I keep cutting it with my scissors lower and lower until I have used every smidgeon of this great lotion. It is worth the effort!!!

I have been a using this lotion for almost a year but unfortunately I am going to search for a different product. I like the quality and the fragrance is great but it is so thick that it is extremely difficult to get out of the bottle, mine is nearly full and I have to store it upside down and squeeze the bottle very hard to get any of it to come out. I know other reviewers have mentioned this issue before and I would agree with them that if Nubian Heritage would change their package to a squeeze tube (like the hand lotion) this problem would be solved. I would have gifted this to my 83 year old mother but given the strength needed to extract the product, there is no way she would be able to use it.

I like this Nubian formula & this scent the best, for me. Sweet but not sickening sweet.. more a floral scent that I get several compliments from wearing.It's a VERY thick lotion so I mix liquid glycerin in with it so that it's "thinner" to use & helps me retain moisture becuz I have very dry skin..I like that it's organic as well.I have used this for years :)
