This handmade ceramic bowl is made of buff stoneware clay and is wheel thrown in my own studio. It is glazed in tenmoku and layered with a blue glaze that gives it the creamy latte and blue colors. It has a lot of movement in the glaze. It is fired to cone 10 (2380 Deg F) in an reduction environment. The well of the bowl measures 10.25 inches around and 2.25 inches high. It holds about 3 cups.
