James Bond 007 Collection -

This is by far the best music book of bond themes Ive ever come across. Each one is almost true to the film scores. Intermediate level more than beginners but using the chord symbols a beginner can quite happily work through each piece. However Id suggest reading the music its far more impressive.Ive been playing organ/keyboards etc for well over 35 yrs now and a few of my students are using this book to great effect.If you are an advanced player, you can master each piece in a matter of a few runs through.Excellent book!! But one minor flaw... IT SHOULD BE SPIRAL BOUND!!!! Why these publishers insist on putting music books together that simply will NOT stay open is beyond me.Melt the glue on the spine with a hair dryer, pull the sections out, slice with craft knife and spiral bind it yourself using a book binder available from argos etc.

This is a great book worth buying. Nice easy to read print.Managed to get book bound @ MINUTEMAN PRESS @ FALKIRK for £5 and they made a superb job of it.Now the book lies perfectly flat on piano while practising.

No disrespect to the seller but after the first day, the book started to fall apart. The pretty pictures at the front started to come away from the binding. The binding/manufacture is very poor. The actual content is really good with practically all of the important tunes being in the book. They are good arrangements too. The only one missing was Skyfall. No problem the seller was able to sell me and put a copy of Skyfall in and simply double the p & p. This seems like a very duff deal......and you certainly couldn't expect to use the book on a gig, it would fall apart.

OK,This would be five stars if the binding wasn't so awful. The publisher needs to understand that this is a piano music book and will be laid flat - my pages have fallen out which is a crying shame on what is otherwise an excellent book.Wonderful music with very clear notation, IMO you'll need to be Grade 4 or up to have a chance of playing the music as there are way more notes than you might imagine ;)

Bought as a present for my piano playing wife. She loves it and I love hearing the tunes... one of the best gifts I have come up with ever
