Nice lotion but only one organic ingredient!
I love organic products. My boyfriend and I believe in buying, eating and supporting the organic movement. So whenever we get the chance, we do so. After hearing about this organic lotion, I wanted to give it a shot. The lotions are 4OZ each, and after reading through the ingredients I was excited to give it a shot! ( I will insert one caveat here however: while this lotion is claimed to be organic, there is only one organic ingredient in the ingredients list! That is the reason for the reduction of the star. I would hope that if a company decided to market a product as organic, they would use more than one organic ingredient. ) The lotion did very well in moisturizing my legs after a shower, as there is quite a few nice oils like safflower, shea butter, and avocado oil. It also did not have much of a greasy feel like other lotions I have used. One note I wanted to point out is that there isn’t much smell to this either which I view as a plus. Often times, after applying a lotion, I walk around smelling like a highly fragranced weirdo and I would much rather have a neutral smelling lotion, so that is a good thing in my book. Overall, I liked the lotion, but the one organic ingredient in the list really bugged me. I felt like they mismarketed the lotion, using the organic label to boost interest. That said, it does a great job of moisturizing and I liked the lotion quite a bit. I received this product on a promotional discount for my honest review and they are 100% my own opinions. I received no compensation for this review and I am not required to give a positive review. As a longtime Amazon customer, I rely on reviews from the Amazon community when making buying decisions. That being said, I only believe in giving honest and unbiased reviews; whether or not a company gives me a product to try does not influence my opinion of the product. Keratosis pilaris, a genetic disorder I didn't know I had/
I read the description of this lotion and it says that its absorbency is lightning quick which is a pretty ambitious statement for lotion absorption but I must concur! It disappears into my skin as no other cream has. Actually it was the first thing I had noticed about this lotion but had no idea that it was also listed in the description. I really abhor thick creams as the warm climate of Hawaii will remind you that humidity is often just below 100% and a greasy coating is the last thing one needs. Nevertheless the sun exposure and our slipper wearing leads to dryness! I guess you can't win in paradise :) The other curious point is that this cream is designed for a condition called Keratosis pilaris. That got me curious as I had not heard of this ailment. Ironically when I looked it up, I discovered that this is a skin condtion I have had since I was a child! Even my mother asked the doctor what it was and since it was minor and the condition seemed literally only skin deep, he brushed it aside. Here is what I found after a google search: Keratosis pilaris is a genetic disorder of keratinization of hair follicles of the skin. It is an extremely common benign condition that manifests as small, rough folliculocentric keratotic papules, often described as chicken bumps, chicken skin, or goose bumps, in characteristic areas of the body, particularly the outer-upper arms and thighs. Although no clear etiology has been defined, keratosis pilaris is often described in association with other dry skin conditions. So there you have it, I have found a treatment lotion for a condition I didn't know I had. Now I'm doubly satisfied with this cream! And by the way, that is why the lotion is called KP Care.I purchased this product at a discount for my unbiased and honest review. Highly recommended.

Minimal scent/unscented and dries quickly!
I do not have Keratosis Pilaris, but decided to purchase this lotion because I have very dry skin and this lotion is marketed as a multipurpose lotion. This lotion is effective with a lightweight consistency. It does not feel oily and dries on the skin quickly. The lotion is white in color and has a minimal smell. The lotion makes my skin feel moisturized without feeling heavy.
