Crux Necklace. Hand-carved oxidized sterling silver pendant around a selenite crystal on an oxidized sterling silver chain. I wax carved the pendant, had it cast in sterling silver and then added an oxidation. The creamy white color of the selenite crystal is a beautiful addition to the oxidized sterling silver pendant and chain. I designed the piece so that the front and back were each distinct and the piece can be worn either way. I love adding the oxidation because it really highlights the details in the piece. I then polish the piece so that some of the shine from the silver comes through. Each necklace comes in a handmade jewelry pouch and gift box. Selenite is a crystal of mental clarity and increased meditation and spiritual development. Selenite is a crystal of powerful intuition and psychic awareness through its influence on the third eye chakra. Selenite can be used to dispel negativity and remove energy blocks.
