Gorgeous, Soft Yarn- Excessive Factory knots -Updated
I recently purchased this coboo yarn in bayberry for a crochet wrap that will be a Christmas present. This is my first time using this yarn and, while I love it, I am frustrated at the number of knots and frayed ends in each skein. I am using two skeins at a time, and have found 11 factory knots in the first two skeins so far. There were sections where I was having to cut out factory knots every few feet. Due to this issue my project now has extra knots throughout this section making it look less clean. I would love to keep working with this yarn as the colors are beautiful and it is truly lovely to crochet with, but the excessive level of factory knots makes it less appealing. I tried to report issue this through Amazon, but was only offered a return. I’ve already used two skeins and have cut out and retied the factory knots so do not feel comfortable returning these skeins. Updated: The first two skeins I used may have been a fluke, I am now mostly through another two skeins and they have had no factory knots. This yarn is truly a joy to work with when not having to undo factory knots. Updated review from 3 starts to 5 stars.

Nice drape, very soft and durable
I have been waiting to try out this yarn, it has a sheen to it and is strong like cotton yet soft. I love it and can't wait to use it for a project.

Very good, with caveats
I do like it. Color is a lovely coral-y orange. Beautiful. It also makes for a soft garment. Until you get used to it, though, maybe use wood needles? Very slippery. It WILL fall off your metal needles. It also will split. But just be careful and get used to it, and it will be okay in the end. Frogs really easily - some might say TOO easily... but tomato, tomahto.

Soft and Sweet
Just finished a sweet little sweater for my grandbaby. The yarn is very soft and silky- which is wonderful but also slippery and hard to work with. It’s a great value though- had plenty of yarn left after using two skeins for the sweater- I will probably make a matching hat next. My project was worked for Debbie Bliss Cotton Cashmere, and I would say this yarn worked up as expected for that pattern. I was mostly knitted with size 5 needles. It did split easily which slowed things down at times. No knots though and I’m happy with the final product. Colors were admiral and vanilla.

beautiful yarn
This yarn has a tiny bit of sheen, without being actually shiny. It lends a richness to the color that I really like. The texture is also good, and it holds together well; no split strands. The price was pretty good, too. The gauge size seems to be accurate, and it has the right amount of stretch. I mainly got it because it was almost the same color as some other yarn that I ran out of, and I didn't know what brand it was to replace it exactly. Well, the color in the picture was very accurate, and it's nicer to look at than the one I replaced. I think I will buy from this line again.

Beautiful
Wonderful yarn, has a very soft yet cottony feel to it. It does pull a little when crocheting, much less when knitting. The color is excellent, but lion brand yarns are always good! Great quality yarn for lightweight work.

Not my cup of tea
I am of intermediate skill and have worked with some pretty darn awful yarns. I'd say this yarn is a love it or hate it kind of thing. The color is nice, the yarn is shiny, moderately priced and it feels durable. (Also easy care) Unfortunately, some such as myself will find it undesirable to work with. I think this is an S on S twist, but the twist is not very tight so its more like working with a plied yarn where it is like thin threads simply held together. This can be a big issue if you want to work quickly or use a slippery hook or needle such as aluminium. This is also more like a sport weight to me, I got the best result using a size E hook. I tried using a 7 and it looked ridiculous, and the G just didn't look right. If this had been a luxury yarn I might have worked through the occasional splits and uneven tension, but I feel this would've been too much of a bother for me. I think I will make something small like a hair scarf instead of the lacy top I had planned and donate any leftover yarn to the local elementary school for crafts. Please don't let my opinion deter you from trying out this yarn as it is not awful. It just depends on what you want to make and what you will and will not put up with.

Love!
Love love love cooboo. It does separate so you have to be careful crocheting but I think that’s just the type of yarn. It works up beautifully and gives that drapey look. So soft for wearables.

The Coboo yarn is lovely and soft with a good drape depending on which stitch used with either crochet or knitting. Quite strong although does split a bit but not a problem for me. I've made some garments out of this

Fantastic yarn, drapes well, feels soft agains your skin perfect for garments, a little on the expensive side to what I like but well worth it.

I’ve used this Caboo cotton and bamboo yarn for baby blankets and it has a really beautifully soft feel and drape so will continue to use it, would have given 5 stars except the yarn splits quite badly sometimes and one ball had three knots which I hate as I try to have as few ends to sew in as possible.
