I think I have combination skin, I don't specifically know what my TRUE skin type is but I do know that my face gets super greasy throughout the day and during the night, but I also break out very easily. I've always had problems finding cleansers that get rid of the nasty oils on my face and make me feel truly clean. Most cleansers that I've felt have "worked" for me make my face feel tight afterwards, and I always associated that tightness with cleanliness and cleansing. That all changed when I got this.Everyone does recommend CeraVe but after I used "CeraVe in the tub" and it broke me out horribly, I was wary of all CeraVe products. I decided to give this a shot and see how it worked for me. First of all it truly does what it says it does, my face DOES NOT feel tight afterwards but I still feel like my face is "clean". Sometimes I even forget to put on moisturizer right after a shower because my face feels so smooth, clean and quenched. My boyfriend has noticed a change in my complexion and even asked if I was using something different because my face looked so clear! This product even curbs the hormonal acne I get about a month before my birth control appointment is due. It's a lot of quality product for the price, and you only need a small amount to work up a lather.I'm really glad I gave this a shot and I will try incorporating more CeraVe products into my skincare routine slowly and see if my results are even better. If you think you have oily skin and your oily face is what mostly makes you feel gross throughout the day, then I really do think you should give this product a try, it gets rid of makeup and built up grease in one wash, and it doesn't make your face feel tight afterwards which I think is key.

Little overpriced, less in the store but I guess that’s what you get for being lazy to go shopping:) Anyway, great product!

Dear fellow amazon.com clients:During my annual full body dermatology check-up this year, my doctor recommended CeraVe cleansers and creams, especially the a.m. lotion with UV protection. I bought enough products to share them with my 27 year-old daughter and we both noticed a positive change in our skin within only a couple of weeks.. My daughter can still suffer from break-outs, and since I was 40 when I gave birth to her, I can be plagued by very different issues, such as clogged pores leading to facial milia. Each of us has seen both of these conditions subside substantially and people have been complimenting us on our skin. Just be sure to completely rinse your face after using the cleanser, since it can be drying if some remains..

I love CeraVe products for their hydration, so this is a bit of an exception to the rule. Obviously it is a great cleanser, and it removes makeup superbly (it's much better than the hydrating cleanser due to the foaming). Unfortunately it leaves my skin feeling a little dry compared to the hydrating cleanser from the same line.To be clear, this is a LOT better than nearly any other cleanser I've tried, but stripping skin of oils makes the skin produce more oil. I much prefer the hydrating cleanser and am willing to use more of that to get the same effect, without causing extra oiliness.
