Q: Is this lunch bag appropriate size for a 5 year old? Or is it meant for adults?

Yes it's appropriate for a 5 yr old I bought if for my 5 yr old son and he loves it I pack his bento box with lunch items and put his thermos and a few extra snacks in the compartment for snack time at school. My s5yr old loves it
