Can't bring myself to not pre-rinse
I bought this because its biodegradable. They claim you can wipe it on then wipe it off, no pre- or post-rinse required, because the soap "lifts the dirt away". I haven't used it that way, not sure if I trust not rinsing off the grit first. But if water from a hose wasn't available that feature would sure be a boon. This product doesn't suds up but the car is definitely left clean so I guess that sudsing action isn't required. I find that I don't have to use the full two capfuls per wash so the bottle should last more than the 17 washes claimed.
