Tiger's the Greatest!
I am an ardent golf fan and a serious Tiger supporter/empathizer; this book I feel was honest and accurate (a few accounts were reconciled with other prints.) Tiger is certainly the best golfer in the last two generations and deserves the respect that that carries. He, however, cannot avoid the scrutiny of history from all aspects of his achievements. Great read and Go TW!!

Could have been a lot better read if Stevie's ego did not get in the way.
After reading this autobiography, I remember why I don't read autobiographys. Steve Williams spends far too much time making his own case of why he is such a great caddy and far too little time apologizing for his short comings. He had the privilege to caddy for in my opinion the greatest golfer to ever play the game and in that time made a ton of money. Hey Stevie get over yourself and your self righteous attitude.

Pretty good, insightful read about this generation's greatest athletic disaster. I definitely recommend it to any golf fan, and especially (ex?) Tiger fans too. I remain a Tiger fan and lament his passing into ignominy without having achieved that which was within his grasp; the golfing version of Muhammad Ali. This book helps explain why that happened, and likely why Tiger will never come back.

Great insights
Lots inside info and perspective. Really enjoyed it. Steve covers lots of great stories and experiences. I bought a couple more as gifts after I read it.

Good and interesting
As a former mini tour and club professional I love the many behind the scenes going one. I was never a tiger fan but always appreciated his talent. I always suspected he was not what you saw up front but a self absolved individual. Thanks Steve for the great read.

There are better inside views of golf, but worth a read, nonetheless.
Didn't learn as much as I'd hoped. Steve Williams' ego kinda got in the way, I think, of an otherwise good book.

See Woods from the trees
Whether one likes Tiger Woods or not as a person, he is a sporting phenomenon. Few know him as Steve Williams does having been with him through some of his most successful years. Knowing the split was acrimonious and Williams felt let down by Woods’ behaviour and is inability to make clear Williams was not involved, it is well worth the read.It presents a picture of Woods not many know and, while it may not endear anyone to him, it will show the hard work involved in becoming the sporting legend he is.

highly recommend for an insight into the greatest golfer that ever liver (imo!), Steve doesn't hold back on saying it how it is and who he respects and who he doesnt which makes for a great read. Yes he is arrogant but he is really just stating the truth in his own blunt way, that truth being that he is the best caddy out there as most players agree.

Very enjoyable
Steve Williams has led a quite extraordinary life. I was astonished at how young he was when he began carrying at the highest level. The insight into his dealings and relationships with all his players (especially Tiger Woods) was superb.

At great insight.
A great read and insight into the real world of one of golfs greatest pairings between caddy/player. A honest and forthright account that dispels any assumptions and inaccurate reporting from the time of the scandal. TW is a very odd character.
