Q: Does it completely empty the contents? The tube in some bottles stops a few millimeters from the bottom.

No. The tube stops approximately a half inch from the bottom.

Q: My pump broke less than 6 mo after purchase. Is it possible to buy only a replacement pump?

I have not had any problems with leaks. I love this soap dispenser.

Q: What is the height of the bottle?

the overall height including the pump is about 8-1/2 inches. bottle alone is about 6-1/4 inches, but i did not remove pump to measure full neck height, so maybe without pump the full bottle height would be about 6-1/2 inches. it's not a small item, if you have a small vanity or space to hold it, then it fills the space. we love ours and added more. holds lots of soap.
