This dosing funnel is exactly what I needed to fill the 54 mm portafilter for my Breville Bambino quickly, properly and easily. The two photos without coffee show the funnel on top of the aluminum portafilter that ships with the Bambino. The two photos with coffee (18g) show the funnel on top of the stainless steel 54 mm Breville portafilter purchased separately, which is my preferred portafilter. The height of the funnel easily accommodates the range of ground coffee recommended by Breville. The reviews that claim the funnel does not work with a Breville grinder are irrelevant here because I have a separate grinder and use its grind bin to fill the portafilter. This funnel fits perfectly on top of the portafilter with the slightest wiggle but it is heavy enough to stay in place and eliminates the need for magnets. It does not to come off when filled with ground coffee and tapped on the counter to level the grinds. The counter tap does require the funnel being held by one hand and the portafilter with the other hand, but this is by no means a difficult task. And the coffee can be tamped with the funnel in place. The funnel fits around the portafilter opening and, therefore, all the ground coffee goes inside the portafilter. I have yet to have any coffee grinds "escape" from the funnel/portafilter onto the counter. It is made of stainless steel, which gives it its weight and also makes for easy cleaning. I highly recommend this funnel for Breville portafilters.

This is a very high quality product and fits my portafilter accurately.It's maybe just a bit short because the coffee does get pretty close to the edge when I distribute it with a WDT tool so a bit more height would have been nice to prevent any spills.My only real complaint is that it's a lot heavier than I think it needs to be. Because the ridge in the funnel is pretty shallow compared to the lip of the portafilter and basket, I do have to be careful not to use the WDT tool too aggressively or knock the funnel too hard or it pops right off onto the counter and makes a very loud noise given it's a pretty heavy piece of metal.Though this funnel is high quality and machined very well, it could benefit from locking flanges so that I could rotate it and lock it onto the portafilter so the funnel did not fall off. So I regret not purchasing one that did instead.It does work and is definitely a high quality item but you do have to be careful so it does not fall off the portafilter due to how heavy it is.

I've had my Bambino Plus for 2+ years, and use it every day, but I'd never considered there was such a thing as a dosing funnel available to help control the mess until researching something else.I love this thing and it fits great!It's just what the description says, a good looking silver steel ring that fits into your portafilter basket. It's super solid and a breeze to keep clean.I grind a week's worth of beans at a time then carefully weigh out each dose in the portafilter just before brewing. The dosing funnel helps speed up my routine while significantly reducing the mess.To kick things up a bit, I started using a WDT Espresso Distribution Tool at the same time and find that using the two together adds a few seconds of Zen to my morning. To take it a step further, the tamper that came with the Bambino fits perfectly inside of the dosing funnel so I tamp my puck before removing the funnel.In a weird way, I feel like this dosing funnel has changed my life!
