Strong tent
I tested this tent during the fridge weather of this past winter. It stood up to strong winds and with the stove inside it stayed toasty warm. If there is a down size it would be there is no floor, but that can be solved with a simple tarp.

Great for car camping, but I would skip it for solo backpacking
I won’t have a chance to use this for a few months so this is just based on the weight. With the aluminum stakes and the poles in the bag it weighs slightly over 8 pounds. The tent itself weighs 5 1/2. Since I’m using this for car camping, the discrepancy in weight is not that big of a deal however, if you are using this for backpacking and you’re a solo traveler, you might need to look for something lighter. I did upgrade the stakes (as suggested by the reviews) and I did buy the footprint separately. The footprint adds a bit over 2.5pounds and the heavy duty stakes weigh 2.2 pounds. So real life usage weight is over 12 lbs. This still ends up being an amazing deal for me as I got it on sale and there was a coupon on top of it. It arrived in one day. For car camping this is gonna be absolutely perfect.

The seems look to be well stitched and well taped
Initial thoughts:I purchased this for winter camping with Boy Scouts. I got the liner with it and I could not be happier.I am 6’4” and I can stand up in the middle of it and there is tons of room! The good:Everything looks to be well stitched and taped. The stakes are not the cheep thin ones but range three rib ones, which is decent but I prefer using the 13” nail stakes from harbor freight. The hole for the stove pipe is already cut but there is a diagram showing how to cut a bigger hole. The bad:No complaints currently, but I may revise after I use it for camping.Final say:It seems like a good tent, very thick central pole, Watched a video online about how to stand it up and I am happy with it. Cannot wait to use it with my new tent stove for winter camping. There is no real mesh or windows but the doors all have zippers so you can open the topDo them for extra air flow. With the mash liner, I will be well protected from creepy crawlers. I could probably have several scouts warming up in my tent if they were freezing too much while camping as long as I follow the rules.

More Chinese trash
Tent leaks water at certain parts of the seams and the tip of the tent ripped on first use and it's past the return period. Screwed by Amazon again

Love this tent.
The media could not be loaded. Firstly it is easy to put up when you follow the guide they send with it.... I tried to go gungho and do it without it didn't workout so great. 2nd. Both nights we camped it was 0 to -4 degrees with 25mph winds and between -15 to -20 wind chill values. I fired up my wood stove and kept it going I had no use for my sleeping bag until it got cold from me waking up needing to stroke my fire but even then it was still relatively warm in there and held up very well in the snow. I put snow around the skirt and bought a footprint for this all worked great.y stove pipe was glowing red hot at a couple of points and it didn't melt the tent but I also wrapped my stove pipe with heat exhaust tape to help mitigate that some. If the stove is in there and foot print you can fit 3 to 4 people if you position properly I bought the T1. Great tent love it great value definitely happy with it I did put it through some test no leakage anywhere there was no condensation at all on the inside it's not that heavy and it a great size. Overall I am super happy with it won't rip I put it under some good tension and so did the snow rain and wind. 10/10 would recommend.

Survived 18 inches of snow in this tent.
The media could not be loaded. I set this tent up the day after it arrived (no snow yet), The only issue I have with this tent is the pictures I had of it show it with a bottom snow skirt, and I didn't get that on the tent that was given to me. Not a big deal. I camped out during the first snowstorm of the season. The weather service said 12-14 inches for my area and we got 18 inches of snow. I was inside this tent with the vents and door open at the top because I was warm enough. I was actually in a t-shirt inside this tent. I had issues early on with the smoke getting the fire started and burning well. This stove is a learning experience for me. I also put too much wood in the back of the stove causing the chimney to glow red if you see that happening pull the wood forward from the chimney area. I was able to cook some oatmeal for breakfast and took temp reading to show it was around 60 inside before bed. Once the stove goes out it gets cool fast, but I was inside my warm sleeping bag and was warm. A couple of weird things about this tent, the snow will crowd you and you should shovel the snow away from the walls outside. You want to be away from the walls or risk getting your sleep gear wet. The sliding of snow down the walls sounds crazy if you never heard it before. It was kind of wild to hear the snow sliding off the tent as it warmed up. The walls inside were wet from condensation, and any time you get in or out you will likely get a little wet even with the stove on full heat. I only set this up for myself and don't see how four people would fit inside this with cots, maybe on air mats and with wood between them somehow. I am totally planning on sleeping out again soon and it's still set-up in my backyard with 18 inches of snow around it. The weather guys are calling for another storm around Thanksgiving and I'm interested to see how this tent holds up in windy conditions. This tent held up really better than I was expecting to the amount of heavy wet snow that fell. I'm rating this a four out of five stars! Thank you! -Mike

Great tent great price!
Great tent for the price! I use it from august to December, it has withstood some crazy storms and the inside was dry as a bone, pairs really well with a stove!
