Teach Me Time kid's Talking Alarm Clock with snooze

This is the third one we have purchased because we have taken one to the grandparents house and left it, then my kids are in separate rooms now and the older said she needed one too. They love the night light, it gives off just enough light but not too much where it is distracting. I originally purchased this because if the green light wake up feature. It was the perfect way for my kids to know when it was time to get out of bed and if they sleep in a little it doesn't wake them up like a buzzer would. The teach me time features have never been used, but my 4 year old is learning the placement of the hands because it has both analog and digital side by side.I love this clock and have recommended it to so many people!

I bought this product for my twins and they loved it! They would patiently wait in their rooms until the clocks changed green and they knew it was OK to come out. But the product only worked for a little over two months. I tried to contact the seller for help to get it replaced from the manufacturer, because something must be faulty with it, but the seller was completely unresponsive. If this clock had worked for more than two months I would have given it a glowing five stars, but due to the cost and short life time of the product, I am extremely disappointed. I also would not recommend this seller based on their non-responsiveness to my requests for help. I know that there hands may be tied, but they could at least attempt to give me a phone number of someone at a company that they purchased it from or at amazon that could help me out. Conveniently, Amazon doesn't seem to have help numbers on their site either, at least not that I can easily find.

My son loves this clock because of the talking feature and the changeable faces along with the changeable back lighting. I, however, am very disappointed that it does not keep accurate time. I can set it to the correct time and after 2 days its running about 10 minutes slow. It never seems to get further off than the 10 minutes but that makes a big difference in trying to get ready for school!

My son loves this nightlight. He's only three and not using the clock yet, but I believe it will be wonderful once he begins learning to tell time. There are only two reasons I don't give it 5-stars. 1. I think the colors are not really the best. "Green for Go" kind of works, but what about Yellow for ? It doesn't make sense. The nightlight is yellow all day and night until they are able to wake up. Maybe it should be blue for go to bed and green to wake up and yellow for day. Not sure. 2. The face stays illuminated yellow all day, which is a waste of electricity. My son isn't in his room very much during the day, so it's a waste (small as it may be).Also, I read one review that you can also use it for naptime, but that is only true if you reprogram it. There is only the ability to program it for one sleep schedule.

Wow, what a difference this makes in our daily routine! We've had these (yes, these - we bought 2) for about a month now for our two early riser boys (age 2 and 4) and can honestly say we've had one morning that we saw the little guys at our bedside before the nightlight turned green. We bought these, instead of the character based version for younger kids, simply because it seemed that they could grow into it more and it offered more features - they love it anyway and the nightlight is the one and only feature we couldn't live without. If you want to ensure your kids are getting enough sleep (and you), buy this - it's too easy - yellow nightlight means go back to sleep, green nightlight means it's OK to get up.

I really only use this to tell the boy when it's OK to get up and/or start making noise, and it's been fantastic for that. He doesn't know time yet, but he's getting there just from playing with the talking time function, and the combination of digital and analog-style display seems to be helping as well. The always-on nightlight could be a little bright bedside, but it's good for the foot of the bed. Controls are reasonably clear, but keep the instructions. Good styling for the kids room. Too bulky to travel with IMO.

Now that the kids are in kindergarten we needed to get them a "big kids" clock and this was a great purchase. They help set the time/alarm, are learning to tell time and can turn it on and off themselves. My son is fascinated with clocks, lights and buttons so this was a great buy for him. Also great for my daughter who stays in bed a little while longer now until the green light goes out. It's the perfect nightlight-stays on all night and it's not too bright. Lots of useful features and a great teaching tool.

Works great and my 4 year old loves it.Could be a little easier to program and able to take back-up batteries.
