Fits 54" John Deere deck with the mulching kit.A little thicker than the original, but still fit great.A little noisier than the original mulching blades, but they do shred leaves better.Cut quality is good.

Bought these when I did a tune up on my John Deere. Man these blades are sharp and create the perfect cut when the leveling is done. My yard is looking cleaner then it ever has. Just a recommendation, keep in mind to be very careful when mounting these bad boys. As always there are safety things that need to be done when completing the install. One mistake and you can have a nice battle scar. If you are taking your time, you would have nothing to worry about. But overall these blades were 100% a good purchase.

Purchased these for my JD445 with the 54” cutting deck. Unfortunately they did not fit without modification. I liked the blade design and wanted to give them a run regardless, took about 1/8th inch off each side trying to keep the blades balanced as I went. Once clearance was obtained I gave them a test mow. So far I am impressed with the quality of cut. A little louder than the stock blades. Overall a nice cutting blade.

Pros- thicker, wider, more heavy duty blade than your typical blade. Does a good job of preventing thicker or damp grass from clumping into piles when discharging. Seems to hold up to abuse fairly well from sticks and pine cones etc. leaves a nicer cut than standard blades. Pulverizes dead leaves pretty well.Cons- not super sharp out of the box. One of the three blades was not perfectly balanced(one side dipped maybe 3/4 of an inch on balancer). The label sticker is placed right next to the hole which probably wouldn’t cause some problem but maybe could prevent a flush fit on spindle. Kicks up more dust in dry patchy areas.Notes- very slightly louder than normal blades. Sounds more like a fan compared to standard blades. The discharged grass is somewhere in between looking mulched and a standard cut. I think they are worth trying if you want something different than standard blades. Hope that helps someone.

I love these blades. They chop and mulch better than any other blade there is. I mowed over some thick swamp brush and it grinds that brush up so well it just disappears. The blades did not bend at all. The only thing is they are not perfectly balanced. The hole in the center is just slightly larger than the spindle it rides on you can feel with the bolt not snug but screwed in. It's like a 1/16 of an inch and it's enough to make it in or out of balance. I found the heavy side on each blade pushed the blade toward the light side as I tightened the retaining bolt. That seems to work well otherwise they will vibrate some . I would purchase these again because they are extra heavy duty and mulch like you can't believe

D170 has star pattern these, that I bought last year for this spring, doesn’t. Great looking blades but will not fit my mower. I don’t know if they will replace or refund but it’s heart breaking when you go through all of the trouble and your brand new blades don’t work.

Delivered on time great product husband loves the he says he did not have to do any trimming on them fit well. He did sharpen them

Nice heavy duty blades, no complaints, correct fit. Only thing is they are very loud. I'm assuming its because of the mulching design.
