Good leave-in for appearance and manageability (not a treatment)
I really like this leave-in treatment and use it regularly. It works well with the hair’s lipid layer — my hair feels smoother, less frizzy, and tangles much less after using it. Hair looks well-groomed and polished without feeling sticky or heavy. The texture is pleasant, and the scent is light and clean — not overpowering at all. I personally use a bit more product than recommended to get the result I want, especially on dry or damaged hair. Important to note: this product does not “heal” or repair hair from the inside. It’s more about visual improvement and manageability. That said, it does its job very well — hair looks healthy, soft, and controlled. Overall, a solid leave-in if you’re looking for smoothness, frizz control, and a nice cosmetic effect.

Saving grace
This exceeded my hopes and dreams by a long shot. This product feels lightweight on the hair (no weigh down) and leaves zero stickiness. My hair feels easier to work with and looks overall healthier. I pair this with the L'Oréal Bonding Shampoo, Pantene Volume Shampoo & L'Oréal Bonding Conditioner (which I've found has given me the best results). Obviously split ends are inevitable, but this does help lessen the amount of them & help the split ends that already exist. Pros: Less frizzy, soft hair, don't need a ton of product IMO, no fuss packaging, pleasant scent, hair feels more manageable. Cons: Price (however, I'm willing to pay since the results are worth it IMO).

My go-to product for damaged, bleached hair
I love this product. From the very first use, you can feel a small difference, but by the third consecutive wash, my hair felt completely restored. My hair was extremely damaged and processed from bleach since I enjoy fantasy colors. I try many products, but I would call this one my “star product.” The ease of application is great — it spreads well and doesn’t feel heavy. The scent is pleasant without being overpowering. In terms of quality, it feels professional, and it definitely improves hair elasticity, making my hair softer and less brittle. The appearance of my hair looks shinier and healthier after each use. For longevity, I’ve noticed the effects last between washes, which is rare for repair treatments. The price is high, but in my opinion, it’s worth it for the results.

A 5-Star Product but the Tube is TOO Small. Still Buy It!
This leave-in conditioner works! My relaxed and 2-weeks-later bleached hair took hits I was not even aware of until I did further research. Turns out, keratin/collagen only "plugs the holes" of one's hair strands (which is what I was doing with those hair masks); however, RedKen's Acidic Bonding Concentrate [ABC] repairs the hair strands' structures down to the cortex of each single hair. After the FIRST use, there is a difference for the better: less gummy-mushy hair and more elasticity recovery! Far less breakage now and on the road to recovery. Definitely a must-have paired up with the hair mask version, especially if one is going to chemically treat his/her hair. I would have gotten the shampoo and conditioner set of RedKen's ABC, but I am too broke for that right now. My only gripe is how small the container tube is, hence the 4 stars; otherwise, it is well worth the money, but really, it should go for a few dollars less than what it is. Edit: I was finally able to buy the bigger tube of RedKen's ABC leave-in conditioner, and it far bigger, but it is not as big as Pantene's leave-in hair tubes. Once again, the size of the bottle with a hefty price is my only complaint, but the product is a 5-star winner!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏆

Top Notch Heat Protectant for Black Natural Girl Hair
I am normally not a believer in hair and most beauty products working in a single use. But this?? Revolutionary to my silk press at home. My daughter has thick, Afro-mixed girl hair. I have 4a-4c combo of hair. Our hair gets dry. Her hair doesn’t behave well with heavy natural products, it also doesn’t do too well with lighter, inexpensive brands like Pantene, Aussie, etc. i wanted a professional outcome for my silk presses at home because salons overcharge for services. I found a classic salon brand shampoo/conditioner set that does well, but I needed a better heat protectant. This product provided results on first use! I chose the 1oz to try and we both have hair at least 5-6 in past our shoulders, hers being longer and pretty much middle of her back. We were both able to get a good application and I am sure I will get at least a second use for both of us. I will be restocking this product with the full size. I have used many oil based, or common store brands and been disappointed with the outcome. Our hair was fully protected with this product. No burnt smell after applying heat, ends were smooth and not brittle, no product buildup on flat iron, hair was weightless, flowy, and soft, the product has a pleasant smell that dissipates after blow drying. This product is clearly what separates a professional outcome from a self styled outcome. A little goes a long way so this is well worth the money! I applied about 1-1/2 to 2 pea-sized squeezes of product to each section of hair (hair divided into 5 sections). I am not a professional but I watched a pro YouTuber (Jennifer Cynthia) that uses Redken as her heat protectant with beautiful results. This is a must have for my natural girlies looking for the product to get the best silk press at home.

Shiny and healthy looking hair
Once in a hair salon, a hairdresser used it on my hair. I noticed my hair is soft and shiny. I have long, fine hair, oily on scalp, dry and damaged at the ends. This was really helpful. My husband likes its smell every time I use it. I bought it twice and now I subscribed for it. A little pricey but worth it.

Buy. This. Product. I stumbled across this while desperately searching for something to help my super dry hair look and feel alive again. And I'm here to say - you need to buy this! I've used it twice, and as someone who never gets complimented on the health of my hair, today I had at least 10 colleagues tell me my hair looked incredible, and asked if I'd had it freshly cut... only thing is, I hadn't! And the only thing I changed was adding this amazing leave-in into the mix. For added context, my hair is fine, wavy and colour treated...and I wash, blow dry and straighten it daily. So you can imagine how dry it gets. But now, its soft, shiny, silky smooth and looks super hydrated and healthy. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Oh, and added bonus it smells great too!

I’ve been using the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In for a few weeks now, and it’s become a staple in my routine. My hair is colour-treated and tends to get dry and frizzy, especially after heat styling, but this product has made a noticeable difference. The texture is lightweight and creamy, so it spreads easily through damp hair without leaving any greasy residue or weighing it down. A little really does go a long way – one small squeeze is enough for my medium-length hair. After blow drying, my hair feels smoother, looks shinier, and the ends appear much healthier. It also doubles as a heat protectant, which is a big plus because I straighten my hair often. Since using it, I’ve noticed less breakage and fewer split ends. The scent is subtle and salon-like, not overpowering. I also appreciate that it helps balance pH and repair bonds – it feels more like a treatment than just a styling product. Overall, I’d highly recommend this if you’re dealing with dryness, damage, or just want to keep your hair strong and protected from styling. It’s definitely worth the price for the results.
