So far the perfect concept for fingerless mittens
Really dig this product. I teach Skateboarding and when I video my students it was much easier than trying to use the touchscreen finger sensors. Love the magnet I Deer versus a button. Way to go, very proud of this product!

Warm, comfy, convenient
This is the second pair of hand warms I have purchased. The first was a pair of gloves and they weren't warm at all. These mittens, however are great! They keep my hands warm, seem to be wind resistant and they have palm grips so while I am walking my dog and I hold my commuter cup and not have it slipping through my hand. The magnetic on the back of your hand keeps the "hood" portion that goes over your hand in place nicely when you need to use your fingers and the thumb slit seems to be down far enough so you don't get a gap when you're using your hands for anything. Now, disclaimer here, I'm walking in 40 degree weather and I get cold easily, but they keep my hands comfortably warm in the "chilly" mornings.

A quality and versatile glove
1. I hike / photograph a lot and thus need gloves in which I can use my fingers; this type of glove fits the bill and I've tried many different types (they're basically the same; mitt style, fingers can be exposed as well as the thumb). Of all the types I've tried thus far, this one is the best; the material is warmer than the usual fleece, it's well constructed, the magnetic flaps is superior to the lame Velcro type; all in all, well worth the money.2. In re: size, I'm a man, 5ft 8, average build with average to smaller hands; the medium fits perfectly to perhaps slightly snug. I would think the medium would fit most average adults (men /women); if you're husky, definitely go for the large or beyond.

Really Nice Gloves
I work as a bus driver so I need gloves that leave my fingers free with the option of covering my fingers when it's cold. These gloves are perfect for me. Usually fingerless gloves with a mitten flap are lightweight and don't keep my hands warm. These gloves are well made, comfortable and warm. I love the magnet that holds the flap down. I can just flick my wrist back and the flap sticks to the magnet and stays out of the way. These gloves also have material on the palm and fingers that helps me grip the steering wheel while I drive. I highly recommend these gloves for people who love fingerless gloves and want a warm pair of gloves. They are thicker so if you are looking for a slim pair of gloves these might be too bulky for you. Excellent product. I would definitely buy them again. I am going to order another pair soon! :-)

Love them
I've been looking for some fingerless gloves that work. I love these because you can get a fingerless thumb. I geocache and these work well for retrieving the log and for signing. They are much warmer than they look and while not waterproof they do repel water and stay pretty dry which is really helpful in the snow. I also like the magnet that holds the mitten when you have your fingers out. No little buttons to contend with so there isn't any flopping mitten.

OK for mild weather
i found these to be ok for a day that was slightly above freezing but the next morning when it was in the twenties, the "mitten" cover didn't even come close to being warm enough for comfort. Luckily I didn't need my fingertips exposed at that time.

there was no evidence of poor manufacturer, eg seams and stitching coming loose
hmmm. I have to say im under-whelmed by these gloves. These cost £38 and i was expecting a product worthy of that price. It would be reasonable to assume one can pay upto £20 on the high street for a pair of decent warm gloves.I ordered these non slip gloves in large and on arrival they fit snugly, there was no evidence of poor manufacturer, eg seams and stitching coming loose. However I have a massive BUT! The feel and quality of these gloves in my opinion, do not justify the price tag.The 2 stars reflect.Today (mid Jan 2016) the outside temp is around zero degrees and no wind, im just back from a walk wearing these gloves.I left with warm hands and gloves on, within 30 minutes walking, my hands became noticeably cooler. The gloves clearly failing to insulate/retain any heat. An hour later my fingers were signiificantly cooler, bordering on uncomfortably so.This is a big dissapointment and a bigger annoyance around the cost of them. The ad description is very poorly translated, with odd claims around "negative neons" and "infra red"!Theres no explanation behind this, putting the relevance of these statements into question, its not a useful frame of reference to a humble glove buyer in my view.In short very dissapointed, these are being returned with immediate effect. My feedback is factual and based on the product received. Of course other buyers may not share these thoughts and experiences.

Almost perfect.
I winced a bit at the cost of these gloves and bought them intending to send them back if they weren't fabulous. Their grip, lightness and freedom from bulk means they are great for even vigorous plein air painting and sketching with the fingertips and thumbtips exposed, as they give excellent grip. For the same reason, they are great for driving whether open or closed. I have given them one very gentle handwash and they came out like new, so that's good. However, when the gloves are closed, they do have a design flaw, I feel. It is that when the gloves are closed over the fingertips the fingertips feel oddly cool in relation to the rest of the hand, probably because the air is not as thoroughly trapped in that area. I find it disconcerting to have my fingertips relatively cool compared to the rest of my hand - it gives me a chilly sensation even if my hands aren't really cold. I therefore suggest that the parts covering the fingertips (the whole section that folds over) could benefit from a little more insulation than the rest of the glove, or the air should be prevented from escaping through the gaps between the main glove and the fingertip flaps, or both. (Also, both the gloves themselves and the wrist cuffs could benefit from being a little longer, in my opinion, as someone with small to medium hands.) Notwithstanding these flaws, I would have given five stars, as these are very good gloves, were it not for the high price which I consider entitles one to expect something close to perfection. (The hats are perfect, by the way!)
