Savoir-Faire Sennelier Soft Pastels Half Stick Set 30/Pkg-Seaside

Beautiful colors, especially the blues and lavenders. Great price on these very soft pastels. I love the coverage and softness of Sennelier, but I can't go so far as to say "buttery". "Buttery" is going to cost you even a bit more, alas.

Love these pastels. Beautiful colors and excellent quality for a fantastic price. My only disappointment was that all the colors are in the Paris collection which I already have.

After buying the 30 count plein air set, I loved it but I needed another set immediately to enhance my color choices. I liked this option quite a bit. The other set gave me a nice selection of natural looking greens to work with. This set gave me a nice selection of blues to work with, and as a nice bonus, there were several light purple colors which are so handy for under painting but were not represented in the plein air set.This collection features as well rounded a color selection as one could wish for in a 30 count box for painting seascapes. All my pastels arrived intact. They are easy to paint with and easy to layer. The pigment is high quality, and the pastels produce slightly less dust than my student brand. If you need a basic but cost-effective step up, this is a decent brand to consider.

It was so exciting getting the Sennelier Soft Pastels from Amazon. As a beginner I had been recommended them for thier sheerness creamy like in texture.I wasnt disappointed!This drawing is a combination of pastels but predominantly the Sennelier.Thier softness allowed me to bring this image to life!I really think the set I got was value for money and play a huge part in my growing love of pastels!

Really like it. Soft , easy to use , good color pigment, but the price go up so much, can’t afford anymore

The sticks have the same label as I had purchased before but these are more soft and flaky. I believe I have to return them.

Love the colors and the softness of these excellent pastels. They are worth every penny, I just need to buy more!

Beautiful set...Sennelier is excellent quality. However, I discovered that soft pastels are too dusty for my allergies. So sad! I will have to stay with oil pastels.

Although these are listed as half sticks, they don't seem to be half the full size stick but even Sennellier's own photographs show that sizing The colour is beautiful (you have to seriously clean your hands when using them as you can't simply dust off as the pigment is so pure) and rich. The entire box shown is about an A5 size top though and I thought it was bigger. The pastels ARE fabulous though.
