So I see an average 1 star rating. In my case, the masala was just as described. I am not familiar with this brand, but I do enjoy tandoori chicken(or really anything tandoori). I am sorry for whatever other reviewers received, but I can only rate my experience with the product and it was just your regular Tandoori Masala, which everyone in my family enjoyed(even my sweet/evil 90+ year old grandma).

Usher this spice mix with Greek Yogurt to make very good Tandoori Chicken in the oven. Worked great.

I also like a good Tandoori Chicken, which is an ingredient of Chicken Tikka Masala.Never forget...if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.I bought this Spicy World Tandoori Masala 1 LB Jar Pack (Bulk Spice) - 16 Ounce because if its incredible price.The results of using this blend are almost, but not quite, entirely unlike unlike any Tandoori Chicken I have ever had and I've had it in many places. Apart from subtle differences, the flavor and color have been very similar everywhere I tried it..This Spicy World stuff is no good at all. Cute name, subpar product.THE END RESULTS: THE COLOR IS VERY WRONG AND THE FLAVOR IS WAY TOO PERFUMY, TO THE POINT OF BEING UNBEARABLE. THAT AWFUL FLAVOR LINGERED ON FOR A LONG TIME AS AN AFTERTASTE.I only used four tablespoons of this (5 lbs. of boneless breast and thigh meat); the rest is going in the refuse bin. And yes, I also used yogurt, lime juice, salt and pepper.
