Lewis Hamilton: Triple World Champion: The Biography Paperback – September 28, 2016

This is a very well written biography of Lewis Hamilton that reads well and gets to the point without a lot of facts that are errelavent.it covers all the aspects of Lewises carrier from his childhood days in Cart racing to the present and the book has enough interesting revalations with becoming gossipy and lays a very good foundation for an argument that Hamilton could very well be the best F1 Driver to compete in the history of the sport and he is still young yet and just hitting his stride.This is the story of a very talented young man that came from a working class family that was willing to sacrifice to help advance his carrier and to support a very motivated and gifted individual that had one goal in mind and that was to become the best Driver in the history of F-1 and he is well on his way today.Hamilton's ethnic background makes his accomplishments even more incredible for a young man his age and as the book shows has presented obstacles that he has had to overcome that makes his story even more remarkable and has given him a unique outlook on his success that is refreshing.Lewis Hamilton is also a fine human being that never forgot where he came from and never forgets those who helped him get there including his millions of fans, he is a very grounded young man and a very religious person that has done wonders for F-1 racing and for auto racing in general.You will enjoy this book and when you are done with it you will have nothing but respect and admiration for this amazing young man and what he has accomplished and is still accomplishing.-FS

I purchased this book as i love all things F1. The biography was well written and really goes through the history of Lewis Hamilton. If you are a fan of Formula 1 and want to really learn the struggles of all drivers in the motorsports industry this book is a must read.

Husband really enjoyed it right up until our 6 month old great dane pup ate the last few chapters.

An interesting read but lacking the more in depth information I was hoping for. Worthwhile read nevertheless.

Well written

Awesome read for Formula 1 fans

Although this is a good book, the early part of his career is covered very quickly. I had followed his career from the beginning but for those who would want to know more it could be a bit disappointing.It is clearly an old book first written in 2007 during Lewis Mania which is when I originally read it. The first part of the book is quite out of date in places as it has not been updated since it was first published so some of this information is now incorrect. I was a bit disappointed that it had not been updated, which smacks a little of laziness.Overall, the new content is well written but is a bit too brief as it covers the post 2007 career in just 80 or so pages. It feels a bit tacked on, it feels like what it is, an old book with a bit of new information added on.It is though an interesting, well written and informative overview of his career and outside of Hamilton’s own book it was the best of the books published in 2007.Hopefully, if the book is updated again in the future, the earlier content will also be updated a bit so that it feels as though it is all one book, then I would give it a higher rating.

A good read that tells some of the background story behind the public perception of Lewis. I would recommend it if you have not read anything about him before other than in the tabloids.
