Speechless.
Cinematic masterpiece. Epic. One of the best movies of all time and also has my favorite two actors in it. Tom Hardy and Leo will always be legends and the best actors of all time.

A well-deserved Oscar for Leonardo DiCaprio
Nature in the dead of winter provides a pitiless backdrop for this story of survival. Director Alejandro G. Inarritu (who also took home the Oscar) evokes the bleak, yet beautiful panoramas of the Dakotas as well as the brutal line between brutal life and frozen death. You'll want to watch this one by a roaring fire, for sure. DeCaprio's part is largely wordless, and yet it's one of the finest screen performances you could ever hope to see. Based on a true story, this is a grueling undertaking for DeCaprio, who is actually swimming in that freezing river and lying in the dirt and slushy snow.

Not exactly what the product claims to be
This is a good copy of the film, but the length of the movie is not 3 hours and 8 minutes like the product description says. The length of the movie is 2 hours and 36 minutes.

Gruesome Masterpiece
The Revenant is a fascinating film. Each frame is starkly beautiful as it captures the winters of Alaska where it was mostly shot. Some of the frames are like pieces of art. So captivating! Then it has a gruesome plot where DiCaprio goes through unending pain and torture. He is brutalized by a bear and then left to die in the harsh winter. He wears all the scars on his body that possibly could be there. And of course he gives a performance of a lifetime. Unforgettable. Award-worthy, of course. Way better than that. His acting is a masterclass. The supporting cast is very effective especially Domnhall Gleeson and a spiteful narcissistic Tom Hardy. This is a movie not to be missed!
