Insanely over priced but work amazingly
I can not tell you how many network cables I have thrown out over the years because the little thing broke off. These little guys are insanely over priced. I am sure the plastic package they come in costs 100 times the cost of the little pieces but they do a beautiful job of exactly what they are supposed to do. Much easier than putting a new jack on the cable and more durable than the original jack's thing-a-ma-bob.

Does what it intends but cheaply constructed
Though these work as intended, they are made of really thin plastic. I was afraid I would break them just try to get them to clip on. With prime, I paid 8 dollars for 6 clips that have about 5 cents each worth of plastic in them. You think for the price they charge, they would make them out of more sturdy plastic, as breaking plastic is the reason I need these in the first place. I can see why they have lots of 6 and 25 as these are just throw away sort of quick fixes that you'll be lucky if they last any longer than the original plastic tabs do. You also have to hope that you can find the extras tucked away somewhere when they inevitably break and you need more to fix the fix, as it were.

works well, but probably best for a permanent install
works fine, but I can see where it might not be too durable. I did try removing the RJ45 since some reported this being a problem, but I didn't see the problem at all... the RJ45 removed as easily as any standard connector. My case-use... wait I hate that term... my need was for a connection that would rarely be used (an Ethernet terminator for audio work). It's perfect for that.

You need this in your deskdrawer!
My internet kept failing at work, and I was able to trace it to a broken Clip on my cord. I was a bit sceptical at first, but the price was right, so I placed the order. It arrived quickly. It was very easy to install, for my computer and two other computers in my office. Very inexpensive and works perfectly well. My boss ordered several additional package to have on hand in my office and in his other office.

Just doesn't work
I have a 50' cable run under the floor for a connection in another room. After several years the clip on the Cat5 cable broke. This sounded like a great fix for the problem. Only they just don't work. Clips on to the Cat 5 cable exactly as described and the cable still fits in the port. But, it does NOT clip in like the original clip did. Since the cable can still come out of the port, this product does not do what it was advertised to do. It is a great buy at $7.99, or you could keep your $7.99 and just use a pice of tape which is what you will likely end up doing anyway.

Won’t buy again
These are fragile and don’t stay on the Ethernet cable very well. It does the job, I suppose, but I’ve already had one break on me. The biggest downside is that the cable gets stuck in the computer and pushing the clips spring doesn’t seem to release it. It will serve its purpose, and I didn’t break the bank for these, but I won’t be buying these again. This is the first product of its kind I’ve used though so I don’t know how these compare to competitors.

Simple and effective
No complaints so far. They achieve the desired result. They're obviously a little flimsy, but this is nothing that super glue can't fix. I will update this review if they break or fail to do their job in the future. Clever little product.THIS IS NOT a paid review. I see more and more of those around these days...

very small
I really wanted the bigger sleeve type connector clips, but though i would give these a try. They move around, so on this one cable I am using it's not really helping to keep the connector i. I'm dealing with it, but should have bought the other type.
