Why did you choose this product over others?: I needed a basic low cost phone for an elderely relative.I liked the colour and style of this phone and the this seemed ideal. It is easy and instictive to use, it does have radio, MP3 and takes basic photos too. But mainly it sends and recieves phone calls and texts. The phone fits in a pocket nicely, fits the palm of the hand well and can be used with the thumb of the same hand or hold in one hand and press the buttons with the other. Having buttons rather than a screen makes it easier for an older person to navigate as well.

Works very well and quite suitable for my disabled relative who has very shaky hands . But the instructions are not adequate for they miss out so many of the many hidden features, like message recording the fm radio receiver and changing ringtones. Luckily he is quite tech-savvy or he wouldn't have been able to find many of them. And be aware that there are different models, for on ordering again we found they sent us an earlier version that had the older micro usb charger connection and somewhat different methods of recording radio programmes. And note that its Gen 2 hardware that will one day be switched off.- but not for some years yet.

This phone was bought and I can honestly say after so many mistakes on other ones. She can actually use it .It's such a lovely little thing .My only one thing I would say is all the ring tones are abit low on sound.when you're getting older you need a loud ring or chime. It does vibrate but again it's a little weak. But apart from that cannot fault it .Battery life ages ,value for money and made to a high standard. What more can you expect, mum can use a mobile phone.

1) The user manual us very poor indeed and little more that an indicator to what the keys mean e.g advice on inserting Text into say, Contacts, was missing completely, and results in frustrating guesswork. 2) Meanwhile the charging cable is far too short for any but the most basic positioning around the house. 3) Construction and 'feel' of the handset is is very poor value for money. 4) SIMs difficult to insert correctly 5) Since I rarely use a mobile phone I have decided to keep it. But I am very disappointed indeed and would not recommend at this price. I could have done so much better. Update 04/09/20: Now failed completely and will not charge. Despite initial converation with Amazon not further advice on repair or refund

I was pleasantly surprised by this phone, having purchased it for the sole purpose of making and receiving calls and texts. It has a dual sim function, so you have the option of using two separate pay as you go sims simultaneously. Both the display and buttons are large enough to make use easy. It contains a few additional extras - calendar, calculator and camera. However, they are all fairly basic, especially the camera. It also stands up reasonably well to accidental mishaps, having survived several interactions with a hard surface. A simple, easy to use flip phone.

Great phone. Good for the elderly

Great for school, happy with purchase. Bonus is that it is such an old style that children get frustrated with how long it takes to message, so simply don’t message. They start to naturally wean themselves off the phone making it their choice, not my enforced choice. Lol.

Battery appears to die very quickly. Only bought phone for a Christmas present for an elderly person and he has said the battery requires charging multiple times a day and he uses it very little
