Broken Mexican Talavera Tiles Handmade Mix Designs 10 Pounds

Came packaged in a box with news paper and packing material. Tiles are mostly chipped on the corners. Some were whole and some were in half. Very cute patterns.

Beautiful well made tiles that have slight defects and/or are broken - perfect for my mosaic project. Nice selection included in the box.

Gorgeous, high quality tiles! I actually thought I was buying broken pieces, these are better. Some did break during transport, but that’s fine with me since I’m doing mosaics. The others I will install above our bathroom sink. Only remote complaint is that I received two tiles with the number 5 on them. Now I need more numbers to make for our address.

I love the colors of these tiles. I ordered 20lbs. When I first opened the box, I was very disappointed because out of 20 lbs I only had 5 whole tiles, 4 almost whole and the rest were all in pieces. So, I separated the tiles and saw that most were completely useable tiles, after all I did want broken tiles. The rest are pretty small pieces. I update my review after seeing how my patio table gets tiled. My table is 42" round table and I do have more tiles from yard sales to add to it. It may take a while to get it done, it is just too hot to work with it. Judging from other reviews, I believe my box of tiles was dropped somewhere on it's way to me.

I am using these around my house to add some color around mirrors and was surprised to find that when I opened the box the tiles were intact. I expected pieces, but instead it is box if intact tiles with some imperfrections and chips, usually on the corners. I hate to break them, but need to for the projects. A great value

Perfect to cover the top two-shelf wooden bookshelves! This is my second order from this vendor for these tiles; I combined the first tiles with white tile I had and covered a dresser top in another room. Both orders provided various colorful tiles at a very reasonable price. Yes, most of my tiles were not broken, but these tiles are easy to break because they are clay (earthenware). Per previous reviews, keep in mind that these tiles are thick; so they are a good fit for flat or larger curved items. Shipping was very quick and the tiles were well packed (taped in bubble wrap and secured in the cardboard box with paper wadding). If I come up with another project idea, I will be back to order these again!

I liked most of the tiles but some had skulls on them which was not represented in the description. Not to my taste but I just used the ones I liked and tossed the ones I didn’t.

I was surprised to find that at least half of the package I got was intact or mostly intact. These are rejects from a pro tile shop, obviously. As you can see from my pictures, about half the tiles were whole - maybe, maybe they were dinged on a corner, or there was a crack in the glaze. Of the tiles that were cracked, some could be held in position or restored to a whole-tile look. The remainder were either broken in half or thirds -- very few small bits. These are thick clay tiles, not thin ceramic like you'd find at a hardware store. Patterns are colorful abstract designs and suns, the odd skull. I'm tempted to save the whole ones for coasters, rather than break them up for the mosaic job on the cinderblock bench legs I bought them for. Really impressed.

I was not expecting so many tiles in one shot. I love these colors and I am going to use it on my new flower pot and in a tray. I like this product.
