Bolsius Ivory Pillar Candles – 2x6 Unscented Candle Set of 20 – Dripless, Smokeless, and Clean Burning Household Dinner Candles – Perfect for Weddings, Parties, Dinners Decorative Candles

These pillars really lit up our Halloween dinner party, inside jack o'lanterns and on holders throughout the room. I was surprised and pleased that with the good price, they really are lasting a very long time, smokeless and dripless. The pillars are nice and stable, no worries about tipping over and creating mess or worse. Glad that we bought a couple of trays -- they will be useful at the Thanksgiving table, Christmas decorating, New Year's eve lumbers, and just for special lighting at home on dark wintery evenings.

I thought the candles were going to be bigger. My bad because I didn't actually read the description lol. I returned bc they didn't work with my votives. Overall though good quality

I bought these because they are a great size for my weekly rituals that are on-going. I love how they burn.

Used with vases as wedding centerpieces and they looked so good together.

UPDATE 2020-09-07: I used a couple of these during a recent power outage that lasted a few days. They do last a long time, per my original review, but they need to be *perfectly level* or the wax spills over the edge and you'll lose a lot of burn time as a result. Definitely put them in something to catch spilled wax in case that happens, and don't even think about carrying them around while there's melted wax built up at the top. Rating lowered to 4 stars.Original review:I got these as emergency candles for power outages. They seem decently made and have no scent.To estimate the total burn time, I put one in a lantern and let it burn for exactly 4 hours. I did not trim the wick, which was long enough to give off a good amount of light. In that time it only burned about 11% of the total volume, which puts the projected burn time at about 36 hours, rather than the 18 stated in the description (see measurements and calculations below). The attached picture shows the test candle, just after the 4 hour burn, next to a fresh candle.The lantern was level enough that a marble would stay put, and no wax leaked during the test. I haven't tested it, but I suspect the wax would spill over and waste a lot of candle if it was not level. As you can see in the picture, the hot wax was liquid almost to the very edge of the candle while it was burning.Candle measurements for test according to my ruler: height of the cone part at the top=10mm, full height including cone=92mm (yep, that's less than the 4 inches! I think they counted the wick, which is cheating in my book, but it burns so long I don't care), base diameter=45mm, remaining candle height after 4 hour burn=76mm. The total candle volume in cubic mm comes out to 135680 and the volume remaining after the burn is 120840. So 4 hours consumed about 11% of the candle, and if it kept burning at the same rate until it was gone it would last about 36 hours.

For me to write a review for anything really never happens ...but for this product of Bolsius Ivory pillar candles I must. They are one of the BEST candles I’ve ever used ( I’ve used a lot candles many years & am picky)... there Ivory is a wonderful color ...they do’nt drip ( which is essential for me)...they carry a brilliant light when lit (much like natural bees wax candles) ..and their a slow burn which allows them many hours & hours of enjoyment. I just am so happy with this product ...if this size & color works for you..They are a MUST Have !!! I like them so much...my only fear is if they stop making them, because now I’m hooked.

I'd say just measure out the size, I didn't and was a bit disappointed.

Bought these for my 8 hour wedding and they never burnt out! Haven’t tried them for the full advertised time but it definitely seems like they would go that long. Completely neutral odor and low smoke, which is definitely a plus. I purchased more than I needed and am still enjoying them. A great low cost option for long burning candles.

Product was 1.75inch wide and 3 inches wide. I order 2x4 candles.
