All of the Kent brushes are a good size and are durable, with soft tines, that remove tangles quite easily, regardless of the thickness of the hair. I have used Kent brushes and combs for many years with much success. They are well worth the cost and will last for years on end.

Great quality, untangles hair easily and comfortable grip. I own several combs and brushes and if could only take one on a trip, it would be this one because of its compact size, versatility and easy to clean. Lastly, it’s my go-to brush to style my hair differently, depending on the function I’m attending. Highly recommend this brush.

I used to use a boar bristle round brush. This has the advantage of being usable to aid in drying my hair with a hairdryer. Even when I use a fiber / wax I can still use this to style my hair without any issues or discomfort. Its somewhat small, but gets the job done. The issues I had with my old brush is that it would not allow a messy look. With this, I can still comb my hair and if I want, keep the messed up look Im shooting for. It also gives a picture perfect hair style if thats what your looking for too. This is easy to keep clean and thats another big plus.UPDATE: I've had this 3 years and it still looks new. No bent bristles or discoloration. Pomade, gel or wax-- all are easy to style with this bush. It doesn't accumulate much hair since the bristles are well spaced. I have very thick wavy hair and have had no issues with this. I noticed Kent makes a slightly larger version of this, but I don't think I'd need it. This is one of those rare items you buy that lasts a lifetime. I'm updating this review since I realized today I lost a Kent all fine pocket comb. Kent has gained a lifetime customer.Only issue I've had is my wife sometimes uses this.

The level of firmness the bristles have is perfect and even glides through thick hair effortlessly. The crystal ion technology is quite interesting as well.

I am a female, but I bought this brush because it is what I was looking for.I have really curly hair. And I am looking to make it quicker and easier to take care of. This brush allows me to apply product evenly, clump, and detangle at the same time. The narrow head allows me to get close to the roots - like a comb expect several strokes at once. I also like the sealed and one piece.I so far have used it with the bristles pointing away from my scalp on hair that had been previously detangled. So, I can not comment on how it feels to the scalp. But, when I test the bristles, they do not feel sharp and they do flex when pressed. So, I think it is a good balance between a comb and a tangle teaser brush.

Product works very well for short hair. I’ve been hoping to find a brush that contacts the scalp to help with my dermatitis. Most brushes lay on top of the hair or have widely spaced teeth and a large head designed for long hair. This one has nice finely spaced teeth- the bristles aren’t too soft or hard and it actually works down through the hair to the scalp. Could have used this years ago!

Excellent quality

This brush is great for long hair. My hair is about 3ft. There are NO balls on the ends of the bristles so your hair does not get stuck in them or tangle further. No worrying about some tips falling off after time and scraping your scalp. The bristles are short and firm, but not too firm. It has just enough give so it makes brushing through wet (or dry) long hair a much simpler task. Many "wet hair" brushes have too much give for long hair and brushing is a chore. Small, light, not bulky, travels well, cleans great and I LOVE it.
