This solar filter is the best, the main reason is it was shipped quickly and gives a nice color of orange like the sun as opposed to other filters that turn the sun Blue or Green. You can even use the filter away from the scope and look directly at the sun with the filter in front of your face.

This item is very easy to use and works perfectly. The sun viewed through this device attached to a Meade ETX 125 is stunning.

I was hoping to see more surface detail on the sun than I do with this filter. I saw none.I'll pay what I have to in order to get it, but thought this one would do the job. I can see sun spots, but that's about it. I've only used it once and - to be honest - am reviewing it now because I keep receiving the request, but I'd like longer to determine it's quality. If it works better with a longer effort, I'll try to come back and modify this evaluation.

Fits prefect on my telescope and I've looked at sunspots several times already.Let's m use my telescope during the day.
