The Trophy Wives Club (The Trophy Wives Club, Book 1)

Very enjoyable read! 4 1/2 Stars
Billerbeck does it again... another fascinating and highly enjoyable read, with a lesson to boot! Not only does the story draw you in but per usual so do the characters. Billerbeck, is gifted with that ability to write quirky, relatable characters that you just can't help but care for. This novel, while dealing with hard issues (marriage, infidelity, divorce, etc.) has depth but is not depressing. It only goes to show you that you can teach truth, even hard lessons wrapped up in wit and humor. A great read for on the go, the beach or just to curl up on your sofa with!

Sweet story
Love Kristin Billerbeck. This story wasn’t my absolutely favorite of hers, which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The romance felt off and it was hard for me to believe. I love her stories of faith and the clean aspect to the romance, so I still rate it high, just not quite perfect.

Great Book!!
I have always liked Kristin Billerbeck. Her books were always good for a light read. I was surprised by this book because it covered divorce. I like the authors that are willing to tackle the real situations of this day and time. This was a good book and I can't wait to read the next one.

A Tub of Chocolate Frosting
Will a tub of chocolate frosting ever take on the same meaning? I don't think so. Kristin Billerbeck did an awesome job of endearing the reader to Haley Cutler's character from the start. Kristin is incredibly gifted in writing dialogues and communicating Haley's self-talk.There were plenty of good laughs as well as serious reflections throughout the book. This was a unique and rewarding book to read. I look forward to the sequel.

The trophy wives club book1
I won't be reading any more of kristin's books. The first one I read, I enjoyed. I thought it might be slightly anti-catholic, but thought that could be my slant. After reading this one, it seems to me that I am accurate although it is put in a very tongue in cheek way.

Disappointing
I have loved Kristin Billerbecks other books, Split Ends, the Ashley Stockingdale, and The Spa Girls trilogies, so I was looking forward to reading this book. From the beginning it seemed to drag and just didn't capture my attention. About halfway in it seemed to get better, but overall, "The Trophy Wives Club" just didn't live up to the author's other books.
